Staff are attentive and awesome. Food is delicious and always piping hot. Best quality eat in Chinese in the area. Better to go when they offer the buffet as that is the best value for money. Order as much and as many times from the menu and the only additional charge is if you order more than you can eat, which is economical and saves waste.

We have always rated jonnywongs as the best Chinese and certainly the ultimate Chinese buffet around and as a family we have used the restaurant regularly for celebrations such as birthdays. However I reluctantly have to say it's not as top rate as it was. The atmosphere that the team created was valued by us all and now I think it's lost in translation and comes across quite abrupt - verging on rude. The food - 85% still the high standard set over the years but the pricing in drinks is totally out of range. We ordered 3 large black currants and a large coke ( dry January hits ) my coke was 3.20 tbh given pub prices not too bad for a restaurant but 2.50 for black currant and tap water!!!!!!!! I'm sorry but £1 is pushing it! Jonnys used to have the whole package now it really feels like a money maker not a guest focused restaurant. Where ever Jonny and Wendy have gone I'd love to know as we would happily come to the new place but I think the general feeling was we won't be returning to wongs on the Hayley road again soon

A truly amazing experience. The food was absolute quality. The idea of an "All you can eat resturant" is great but the fact that they bring the food of you choice to you is exceptional. My only concern was the seating capacity.

Met friends for lunch. We were the only ones in there for a while. Our waitress was very helpful and we didn't have to wait too long for the food to arrive. It was all very nice. A most enjoyable afternoon. The only problem is parking!

Crispy duck was straight out the fryer. Rest of dishes tasted like contents had been in a freezer for too long and salt content off the scale

My family and I have been using this restaurant for over 10 years, visiting at least once a week, and the food has always been excellent and of a very high standard and remains so. However, sadly since John left and handed over to a new manager, the service has severely gone downhill, to the point where we left before ordering our main course over Christmas. I doubt we will be returning in the future now either, unless things improve.

Worst food i have ever eaten, chicken and prawns were slimey and satay chicken was like water, will not be recommending this restaurant.
