Katie Farrell is a Qualified Saddle Fitter and Master Saddler registered with the Society of Master Saddlers, offering a mobile service for new saddles, checks and repairs in the Shropshire and surrounding areas.
She is an authorised dealer and saddle fitter for Albion, Bliss of London, Harry Dabbs, Jeffries, Loxley, Paul Jones, Thorowgood and Wow. In addition Katie can offer saddle checks and repair work on most brands of saddles.
Her life time involvement with horses, started out with ponies in her childhood and later to a job in racing and then as an International travelling groom. Nowadays Katie can regularly be seen out hunting with the Wheatland. In 2001 Katie started her training as saddler, where she enjoyed learning the old ways to make and repair all types of leather work. After having worked for Miller Crosby and then Albion Saddlemakers where she trained to gain her saddle fitting qualification, she decided to follow her passion and set up her own saddle fitting and repair business.
As a highly experienced saddler, combined with her equestrian knowledge, training and riding experience Katie provides an unbiased professional saddle fitting service ensuring you and your horse have a safe and correctly fitted saddle. Katie works alongside vets, physios and trainers for horses and riders of all levels and disciplines.
