This week here at Katie Fitzgeralds we have our weekly Irish Session with host Patrick Hannon , our monthly open mic with host Kyle Parsons on Thursday , Friday we have Fitz of Laughter in the marquee bar with the Black country Pirates in the upstairs bar. Saturday we have Paul Bridgewater and his Electric blues rebellion.

Phil Lynott Convention, Sean Meaney , Haldin and Stourbridge Foundation4 music are all working to create a permanent memorial to the memory of Phil Lynott in West Bromwich where he was born nearly 70 years ago. Whether you're an experienced songwriter or its your first crack at performing live it doesn't matter. If you're a musician who wants to be involved in the local scene then there is no better platform. The atmosphere is friendly, encouraging and relaxed. You are invited to perform your own songs, poems, covers or just grab a drink, sit back and enjoy the quality of the local musicians.

*TONIGHT* Katie's Christmas Quiz will be hosted by those two lovely nutters Pete Lowe and Ian Marrey. Lots of fun guaranteed and entry will be by an item of food for Stourbridge Food Bank. Let's see how much food we can get to make a difference to other people's Christmas. There will be prizes and nibbles for everyone and, I would imagine, a bit of a sing song. . Hope you can join us

Went to the comedy night and the acts were 1st class and couldnt of hoped for a better night out and would recommend it and will do it again

To be honest I was not expecting such high quality acts - superb comedians - had me in stitches - top night, highly recommend ���

Time spent in Katie's is never wasted. It is quite, quite unique. Whether you are there for the music, the beer, or just the great atmosphere. There is nowhere quite like it. I love my real ale and the beer here used to be a bit hit and miss. That is no longer the case, it really well kept and there is a small but very select choice on pump.

Eddy and Trina are never ones to rest on their laurels and are constantly tweaking things around the place. There are regular great music events and even poetry/book nights. Live music is always an option but when it's not there is the best jukebox in town bar non.

The staff are simply excellent, unfailing friendly and helpful. For such an appealing and popular venue the last point to recommend it, is that the arsehole factor is very low indeed with the customers seeming to chill out as much as the place itself.

Thursday evening at Katie's was sheer joy.

Abacus were playing a really good session of music from Appalachian mountain to good folk & country music.

This duo presented a rare quality of graciousness in their performance.

No ego, just honest down to earth people.

Harmonies were lovely and both were a fine example of musical presentation.

This pub has everything, fine ale; host and hostess with the mostest and of course the best Guinness served in town!

Supporting live music since the turn of the last century a Bostin ode pub with friendly staff and a great atmosphere.

Many people over 40 will tell you that once upon a time Stourbridge was the place to be but sadly that is no longer the case. Katie Fitzgerald's is a reminder of how Stourbridge used to be. The landlady Trina is always charming fun and with an infectious spirit that lifts everyone around her. The music events are the best anywhere and the dj is so cool. Full range of the best real ales and a friendly and fun staff team. Would recommend to anyone.

Love the comedy nights at Katie’s! A unique venue. Always a top night. Thanks for putting the cheese and onion cobs on too. Nothing tastes like a good crusty cob in the pub! 5*

It's asked me to tell people what I think about Katie Fitzgeralds.... What can I say.... A wonderfully friendly pub with such a lovely atmosphere. Always made to feel welcome by the lovely Trina and Edddy and all of their staff

I first came to Katie's when I was 17, with my best mate Luke on his 18th, he had his first Guinness and I sat there with my Pepsi... yeah, I was sad, whatever! lol But 4 years on, it would become my second home.



There's great beer, and great music as well, anyone who hasn't been here yet, get yourselves down here, you won't regret it, we'll make you right at home!

Have only ever been here for the Fitz of Laughter Comedy Shows but regardless, it appears to be a vibrant and quirky local venue

Great atmosphere and great staff it's a rambling adventure of rooms with music mirth and merriment. Well worth a visit

Fantastic night out in a great pub. Only down side was mens toilets were way too small for the amount of people in the place. Went to see Ian D Mountfort downstairs & mens loos consisted of one urinal? Bit of a que but still a great pub

Down the road from where I was bought up.

This is a great venue with a friendly crowd and reasonable drink prices.

They do music and comedy nights downstairs and it is always a good night.

My friend was ill last time we went and the staff were very helpful.

Always enjoy playing here with The Loveless.

A really good venue,many different things going on in a friendly and laid back environment - one of my favourites - been there few times now and I can reccomend it to anyone - well worth going to

Visited approx 6pm, only us a group of about 12 in the bar and asked could they turn jukebox up as could barely here it... Barman refused said they couldn't turn it up cause of the band downstairs which wasn't even playing ??

The pub itself is ok,as are the drinks...The seating for the comedy nights leave a lot to be desired, unfortunately for us ....
