We've proudly served our Muslim Community here at Keele for years and seen our Ummah here grow year by year with over 200 members and over 500 Muslims on campus last year Alhamdulillah. With your help, we want to go even furth...er with helping the Muslims here at Keele grow in their Islam and embrace more into learning about our beautiful religion. Your money will help us make university, not the pause on a Muslim student’s growth in Islam, but instead the kickstart. Your £1 could turn into £10, your £10 to £100 or your £100 to £1000 through our Charity efforts. Your donation will help us serve the needy in our community and around the world as well as teaching our members the importance of giving up time to serve the less fortunate. Your donation would be the means of keeping a young Muslim out of a haraam environment and introduce them into a halal one that will nurture their character and deen. Your donation will allow us to spread this beautiful religion and teach about the perfected character of Our Prophet, Muhammad (SAW).

Salaamalaikum Everyone! As you all may know the month of Dhul Hijjah is approaching in Sha Allah. 🕋🕋 Among the special seasons of worship are the first ten days of Dhu’l-Hijjah, which Allah has preferred over all the other days of the year. Ibn ‘Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) reported that The Prophet SAW said, “There is no deed that is better in the sight of Allah or more greatly rewarded than a good deed done in the (first) ten days of Al-Adha”. It was... asked, “Not even Jihad for the sake of Allah?” The Prophet SAW replied, “Not even Jihad for the sake of Allah, unless a man goes out himself for Jihad taking his wealth with him and does not come back with anything.” Narrated by Al-Bukhari Allah says (interpretation of the meaning): "By the dawn; by the ten nights" [al-Fajr 89:1-2]. Ibn ‘Abbas, Ibn al-Zubayr, Mujaahid and others of the earlier and later generations said that this refers to the first ten days of Dhu’l-Hijjah. Ibn Katheer said: "This is the correct opinion." (Tafseer Ibn Katheer, 8/413). The Prophet SAW commanded us to recite a lot of Tasbeeh("Subhan-Allah"), Tahmeed ("Al-hamdu Lillah") and Takbeer ("Allahu akbar") during this time. ‘Abdullaah ibn ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him and his father) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "There are no days greater in the sight of Allah and in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Him than these ten days, so during this time recite a great deal of Tahleel ("La ilaha ill-Allah"), Takbeer and Tahmeed." (Reported by Ahmad, 7/224; Ahmad Shaakir stated that it is saheeh). These ten days include Yawm ‘Arafah (the Day of ‘Arafah), on which Allah perfected His Religion. Fasting on this day will expiate for the sins of two years. These days also include Yawm al-Nahar (the Day of Sacrifice), the greatest day of the entire year and the greatest day of Hajj, which combines acts of worship in a way unlike any other day. So make sure to make use of this time, may Allah reward you all :)

(Forwarded) We'd like to share an event we're currently planning- Muslim Student Panel (MSP).
This outreach event offers an eclectic mix of solutions to many problems young Muslims face today via a twist on the usual student panel offered by universities and schools for pre-uni students. We hope to provide guidance to help them on their taking their first steps on their path to pleasing الله (swt) in choosing their degree and potentially a career path.
... A ‘Muslim Student Panel’ provides students across London and beyond to gain real life advice from a plethora of current undergraduates who are currently studying a broad range of subjects at university across a variety of age groups (Mash'Allah Tabarak'Allah). This will allow current students to share any common pitfalls and allow prospective students to alleviate any concerns they may have in amalgamating their Deen with their studies and future careers, In'Sha'Allah.
This is where YOU come in! We need panellists across a range of universities AND courses. Please do consider signing up to be on the panel (or if you prefer you can sign up to be involved in the mingle only!).
To close, we leave you with a warm reminder about the benefits and virtues of imparting knowledge on the Muslims of tomorrow. Abu Hurairah narrated that Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) said: “When a man dies, his good deeds come to an end except three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, and righteous offspring who will pray for him.” (Muslim) The benefits of helping young people is immense and is one of only three opportunities that we have to increase our hasanat and prepare for the akhira.
