Just a short notice to let you all know that tomorrow at 6pm I am being interviewed on VDUB Radio, this is an internet based station specifically for the VW enthusiast,Victoria Whitehouse prised information out of me covering some history of Kingfisher Kustoms.I hope people can understand my accent, to listen I simply searched VDUB radio and played live on my I phone Iβm not the best on internet technology so I hope you get the jist and tune in cheers Dave Fisher
We at KK would like to thank all our old and new customers and friends for their support over the last few years. We are now going in to 2019 as our 40th year as Kingfisher Kustoms thank you all and we wish you all a very happy new year
This car goes back to early 80s yes itβs a Reliant Robin guy who owned it wanted something different power wise so Kingfisher Kustoms grafted in a complete type 3 modified engine attached to a type 3 irs gearbox plus loads of other mods if your interested in the car drop us an email Dave Fisher
Hello
Really enjoyed the challenge of fitting a VW engine into the front of a trike on off cooling system oil system etc looked and drove great
Why not take a look at the new Virtual Tour.
We've been having a bit of a sort out at Kingfisher Kustoms this past week and have rearranged the shop to accommodate a full size short wheel base Beach buggy shell on the wall..! We also have some exciting news to tell you about the shop and workshop but as soon as it's done we will upload a link for you to follow.!
So the Porsche 914 left Kingfisher Kustoms after all the work had been carried out that was required. The customer has plenty to do but we will report back once completed.!
Ok people some of you may know that we have been working on a Porsche 914. Our part of the project is coming to an end but the owner still has plenty of work to do. Here are a few before and after pictures. If you require any work carried out on your vehicle please give us a call at Kingfisher Kustoms.
"I think everybody in the world should drive a beach buggy" Jeremy Clarkson. Wise words indeed from one of the worlds best motoring journalists.
We have very limited stock of these special fish barbecues .... as used by Clarkson, Hammond and May on The Grand Tour. If you want one you had better be quick π
If you would like to read a little bit about the build of the beach buggys for The Grand Tour project, pop over to our website and you can read a bit of the story behind the scenes. http://www.kingfisherkustoms.co.uk/
*EDIT* Sorry folks, there has been a bit of a technical hitch, which can't be sorted until the new years break. Will let you know when it's back
Well, now that the 1st episode has aired, we can finally tell you that .... KINGFISHER KUSTOMS WERE THE MAIN CONTRIBUTORS IN THE BUILD OF THE 3 BUGGYS FOR THE GRAND TOUR πππ We were sworn to secrecy, but now we will be able to share photos and stories of the buggy build with you all
On behalf of all here at Kingfisher Kustoms we would like to wish you a very merry christmas and a safe and prosperous new year. We would also like to thank you all for your continued support and custom and look forward to seeing you in the new year.
Not all of our customers are crazy enough to ride their trike 100 miles home in the freezing cold and through the rain in the middle of December .... but this one is π Andy, we salute you
Nice gauge set up in a purple glittery (and dusty) buggy we recently built here at KK
