This is a wake up call for all the Jaguar S-Type owners, we have had lots of immaculate looking S-Types, but when doing full rustproofing and taking all the plastic covers off, it is a completely different story underneath. Most of the S-Type sills are completely rusted away and there are rust holes leading inside of the boot, of witch the owner has no clue of. Please, let not this be you and book your S-Type in for full rustproofing treatment for your peace of mind.

Visited Krown on Monday to treat my 2002 MG TF 160 to a full Krown treatment. Rob knows his MGs and gave me a full rundown of what he was going to do. He checked I was happy with where and how the treatment would be applied. I was keen to inspect the car under the ramp as I'd not had an opportunity before, and Rob was happy for me to do this and pointed out the areas that are usually effect by rust on these cars. Back in the comfortable waiting area I was provided with lots of tea and chocolate snacks. Rob was happy for me to go down at anytime to watch and ask questions. The treatment took only 2 1/2 hours. An excellent service that I'll be recommending to friends. Thanks guys!

User

Truly customer service at its best. On arrival I was shown the process and told what to expect. I was then allowed to sit in the warmth upstairs as Robert went about spraying anti-rust magic on my car. Half way through I was given a guided tour of how the operation was going and got a final look underneath at the end. I was impressed at the lengths Edgar and Robert want to go to to ensure you go away happy. The process is very simple and having been shown the effects on a car proofed some while ago, it does seem to do the trick. The simplicity and efficiency of the team means that the price is also very attractive. So attractive I cannot recommend Krown Rustproofing UK highly enough.

User

Took my mg zs today for krown rust treatment.

Was pleased to meet rob who is fond of mgs partly what convinced me to use krown.

Very good thorough service and look forward to see how the mg does over the coming years.

Thanks rob for the easter discount.

User

Took my mg ZS mk2 for the full treatment and the guys have done a really good job totally protected from the elements. Was pleasantly surprised to hear that my mg was pretty much rust free so have done the protection at the right time

User

Took my Toyota Starlet in for the full rustproofing treatment and couldn’t be more impressed and satisfied with the process! The kind people here are genuinely passionate about their work, and were more than happy to walk me through the whole process from start to finish. The job took around 3-4 hours to complete which gives you an idea of how in depth it is, and is followed up with a helpful discussion on aftercare and the guarantee provided with the work. There’s a very comfortable waiting room in which the time passed quickly, so you needn’t worry about what to do with yourself. Overall I’d recommend the process to anyone; for the quality and price you really can’t beat Krown!

User

Took my Mercedes C36 to Krown for the full treatment.

I can't believe the time and care taken in doing the job, was around 4 hours from start to finish, every nook and cranny was treated with a good generous helping of rustproofing.

Well worth it, if it keeps my car protected and alive for a bit longer.

User

Taken my Audi TT to krown today Edgar and Robert have taken excellent care of me and my car talking me through the whole process of the rust proofing treatment. Showed me the underneath of the car on the ramps pointed out the light surface rust. Robert then started removing the underbody trays to treat the whole underneath of the car including fuel and brake lines was shown the treatment after it was done before the refitting of the underbody panels. All care was taken when removing and refitting the plastic trim. Looks excellent underneath. Robert then started on the upper of the car spraying the krown rust treatment into all the inner wings behind the plastic arches. Carefully removed the lights to spray into the inner body cavities taking care to refit the lights back to the car. Then came the drilling of two small holes one in each door to spray the treatment inside the door cavities. I don't think that this much care has been lavished on my car prior to me buying it. I am very happy with the service and care given I would recommend Edgar and Robert to every one who wants to protect their car.

User

Shouldnt be anymore rust now.

Thanks to Edgar and Rob,what a great job they done on my 2002 STR.There wasnt a bit missed at all.Small hole drilled in each door so they could plant the rust inhibitor in there and of course, put a rubber bung in to fill hole. The hole is under the door rubber,so you wont see it.Every nook and cranny done, car all washed after too.

Thanks again guys,oh the wifes Mini is next.

User

Really impressed to see your work today - well worth the 100 mile trip with my Alphard import. Thanks for the coffees too.

User

Managed to slot me in last minute and done an excellent job on my MG ZT-T. Friendly and professional. I will definitely recommend to friends.

User

Just returned from Krown Rustproofing and very satisfied with the results. Robert, the technician/owner could not have taken more care and been more enthusiastic about my car. He said that he had treated many Rover 75s, and knew them very well as proven in his workmanship.

Carefully disassembled and reassembled where necessary to gain access to rust prone places and crevices most of us never see, my car was, as proven on commencement of the process rust free to begin with and although only time will tell, I am very confident this was £252.00 wisely spent. The process comes from Canada where it is used widely and to great effect.

Tea, coffee and sweet treats were available in the waiting room, but Robert was equally as pleased if you wished to watch the entire process and he gave a running commentary on the progess and methods.

Any clips and screws etc broken or non serviceable are replaced free of charge and he carries a good stock of everything needed

It is well worth the journey to Birmingham to have this undertaken in my view and will indeed make my 75 last considerably longer.

User

It is well worth the trip - I travelled to a rival rustproofing 'specialist' in Hertfordshire two years ago for a poorly executed treatment and have recently had excellent, courteous and most importantly professional service from these guys. My mechanic/technician friend (Nick at Austin Garages of Burton on Trent) has had my much loved 12 year old Rover 75 up on the ramp since then and approves of the thorough treatment, having criticised the previous attempt from the rival company. Recommended wholeheartedly!

Incidentally I complained and returned to that rival company and they still did not complete the process promised to the satisfaction Nick - whereas I have no reason at all to think anything but good of the treatment applied by Robert with Edgar organising the paperwork, and Oscar doing the computer tech. KROWN in contrast carefully removed several significant items of trim in order to treat the car properly, and asked my permission to drill a small neat hole in each door. These guys really do want to do a good job! I have no problem whatsoever in encouraging folk to travel to them - especially as they have a very pleasant waiting area, and are just off the motorway.

To allay people's suspicion I paid full price and apart from a couple of cups of very welcome coffee have no reason other than gratitude to commend KROWN - they deliver what they promise!

User

I was very impressed with the service my Jaguar XKR received from Edgar and Robert at Krown Rustproofing. Before starting the work they fully explained the process and I was able to watch the prgoress of the treatment (when I wasn't having tea and biscuits in the waiting room).

Robert discovered a couple of little surprises under the body kit covers on the offiside sill but I would not have known it need a little bit of outer skin work had they not been so thorough in removing those panels to spray inside the box sections.

A good service for a good price and with an unlimited mileage five year guarantee. I recommend them.

User

I was pleasantly surprised to discover comparatively little hidden corrosion on my car, chiefly in all those areas which are normally concealed from view.

The under body & engine trays, sill covers & rear lights were removed. I would personally describe the T40 product as a thin, oily (not waxy) liquid which deeply penetrates & lubricates. It is applied hot, under pressure & introduced into all panel cavities as well as under the car. A semi-curing product (it partially dries to leave a jelly-like coating) which creates a clear, self-healing protective layer in order to repel moisture & road salt. The entire process for my S-Type Jaguar took in excess of 4 hours from start to finish. Overall, i'm very satisfied with the attention to detail which quite frankly, exceeded my expectations & consider it good value for money.

I have since posted the pictures I took during the day on our Modern Jaguar Support Group, a forum for which I represent part of the administration team.

Based on this experience, I have no hesitation in recommending the product or process, along with the thoroughly professional approach by the staff at Krown UK.

User

I took my recently imported Toyota Soarer to Krown to be under-sealed, the staff were really friendly - they showed me the rustproofing product and talked me through the process. It took about 3.5 hours (this is for quite a large saloon, they have a comfortable waiting room too) but they did a really thorough job, ensuring all cavities were coated, under the arches and even behind the boot liner/in the engine bay!

This was done at a really good price and even came with a guarantee! I'm very impressed with Krown's service and have the peace of mind that my pride and joy will be rust free for the next few years. I definitely recommend these guys to anybody who needs rust treatment on their car and I will be coming back! :)

User

I took my Jaguar XJ8 to get the full rust proofing treatment today after reading all the positive facebook reviews. The service and care my car received was top class, I stayed to watch the full process and was impressed with the levels they go to, to ensure the car was fully protected. They cleaned the underside Of The car prior to treatment and removed the rear lights, wheel arch liners and the boot linings to ensure they could get the T40 treatment everywhere it was needed and carefully put all this back afterwards as good as new. Discreet holes were also drilled into all four doors (behind the weather seal) to get the product inside the doors, and then capped off. There is probably more that I missed though!! Special thanks has to go to Edgar who made the time treatment took to complete fly by, ensuring I had plenty to drink and providing very entertaining and intersting conversation! Thanks very much guys and will definitely be bringing my car back for a top up in two years time

User

I recently took my 1998 Ford Cougar here for the full treatment. I was very impressed by the thoroughness of the process into every corner, channel, sills etc. Lights, wheels, trim covers, boot panels, and underbody trays were all removed and areas cleaned before application. The product itself is like an oil so it never dries and continues to work it's way into obscure areas even after the process is complete. The staff were very friendly and perfectly happy to explain the process and let me take pictures. Only time will show just how good the actual product is for me but I recommend it to others thinking of doing the same thing.

I had my S type Jaguar treated by Krown UK, I was very impressed with the treatment both my car and myself received, everything was explained prior to treatment and I was kept informed at every stage of the process, I highly recommend this company

It took 4 hours but comfy sofa, coffee and biscuits to keep me occupied, sorry guys but I eat all your biscuits It was nice to be able to see the process in action and reassuring to know your car is in good condition and will now remain that way with the Krown treatment.
