Wed 22nd March 2017. Vegan Food Night. All I can say is Wow!

A Fantastic selection of vegan and vegetarian foods. Unusual combinations and marvellous tastes, such as beetroot soup with vodka and cabbage. Too many to mention here over the eight courses we experienced!

Compliments to the chef(s) and thanks to the waitresses for giving Juliet and I a lovely night out.

We will be returning.

We originally booked about a month ago and there was a mistake with our booking of which we were very disappointed and upset with to which I left a previous review being bad, however the owner rang me literally the same evening and for the mistake apologised above and beyond of what they needed to do, we have just finished our mains and honestly can say that food was absolutely incredible and we will be definitely 100% coming back

Was a great meal, we had lamb and steak sitting in their garden, very beautiful this was our second visit and will be more to come, service friendly and good, make you feel very welcome and relaxed, ���

This was mine and my husbands first visit after wanting to go here for ages and we weren’t disappointed! The food was amazing! So much so I actually struggled to choose my main and pudding as they all took my fancy! 🙊 the dauphinoise potatoes were the best I’ve ever tasted. Will definitely be returning ☺️

The most exquisite mushrooms on toast I’ve ever tasted!! Cakes to die for; Gooey chocolate and pear cake, gluten free almond and orange cake..... But it seems that the success lies in the fact that everything is made with love- they’re all about attention to detail. AND they even have coconut milk for the fussier customer (I.e. moi). Really gorgeous lunch in the sunny walled garden today! Potentially the best sandwich I have ever had....!! (Massive prawns with ginger and chilli avocado and salad in some amazing bread with super crunchy tasty fries). Will definitely be back!! �

My niece Emily took me for lunch here last month. Wonderful service, delicious foid and an amazing glass of blanc de blancs. Very nice outside garden and seating. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I experienced a vegan and vegetarian fare tonight at la Madeline. Not being either vegetarian or vegan I was somewhat apprehensive and miffed when my Hubbie booked a meal for us both . I expected plain and non inspiring food, I was very pleasantly surprised, the food was amazing, the selection fantastic and the service 1st class . Will definitely be returning . Thank you all for a lovely evening .. thumbs up from a very satisfied customer �

My absolute favorite place to spend my Saturday mornings! Lovely staff that is always so welcoming--and they never kick me out even though I sit there for hours journaling/reading/sketching. Highly recommend to anyone in the Hereford area!

If you are looking for just the right place for a special celebration you need look no further. Just celebrated my 70th birthday at this gorgeous restaurant and Ed and his dedicated team couldn't have done more to make it a fantastic evening. The food and ambience were great and we were so well looked after by our hosts. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

Had supper at La Madeleines last week, it was stunning! Had the wild boar for my main, it was incredible, I'll be going back! �

Excellent service, the best apple cake I've ever tasted and wonderful teapots that keep the tea hot and pour properly! Also, they give you decent helpings and lots of tea. It's a great place to 'people-watch' or just sit and watch the world go by. Highly recommend this place.

Absolutely wonderful little gem of a place! I was attracted by the sign saying there was a garden but as I walked through the interior, I was delighted. The staff are fab! Wonderfully chatty and kind and clearly passionate about working there.

Absolutely terrific. Beautiful food and cakes. Great wine menu. Nice and cozy. No hurry to leave. In the summer(it’ll come soon) very nice courtyard to eat in.

A little Gem in the heart of Hereford. We have been visiting La Madeleine for a number of years and it never disappoints. Last night was exceptional and the food, atmosphere and ambience was first class. The menu is simple with only a few choices of each course. This makes the choice so much easier and there is always a good range. Not important but the pricing is also really good. 3 Courses and bottle wine £75. First class service.

The food at La Madeleine was delicious. Visited here for a friend's birthday dinner. Lovely relaxed ambience. The only reason I have given it 4 stars is that the Picpoul de Pinet wine (one of my favourites that I drink regularly) was not very good and other friends in the group agreed: we didn't order a second bottle but switched to a lovely rosé.
