Our upstairs restaurant is the perfect place for your party!

Went for birthday meal very warm welcoming food amazing as were cocktails! Would recommend it worth a visit great value for money

We came to celebrate a birthday as a family group of 10. We found the food was delicious and tasty, bursting with flavour and very satisfying. We were looked after well by the staff. The atmosphere was lively but with cosy lighting making it feel very relaxing. A most pleasant evening. Our group also had 3 vegetarians who easily found a variety of choices from the menu.

This place is a little gem , tucked away you'd think it wouldn't be that interesting but once inside the whole place is buzzing with an amazing atmosphere. Staff are friendly and extremely helpful . The place was heaving with people when we arrived and so it should be , their food is exceptional !

Calamari cooked perfect , scallops to die for and the opportunity to have whatever you want off the menu In small enough dishes to be able to share . Think we had around 24 dishes and plates with delicious food and plenty to go round .

Give this wonderful place a go and you'll be back for more .

Reserved table in bar, as no room in restaurant but found this to suit well as had a more relaxed vibe. Service was excellent and friendly, amazing cocktails. Food was hot and very fresh, large portion sizes and amazing flavor. Really enjoyed our meal and will return.

My boyfriend and I celebrated our new year here last night, we have for the last 3 years. We always have an amazing time here, the staff are really friendly in particular the older gentleman behind the bar (don't know his name but he has an incredible beard) the food is delicious and fairly priced! We love the atmosphere and hopefully it will become a new year tradition for us 😃😃

My husband and I love this place, food portions are always great and this is our place we go to for our date night whenever we get chance to go out.

Great vibe in la plancha even on a Wednesday evening. They also have a full gluten free menue and the food is wonderful and large portion sizes.

Amazing place ,amazing food, the service was fast and polite. The bar maid I only looked over and she brought us over more drinks, worth every penny . Only complaint was my stomach couldn't handle more food o and could I have the receipt of that amazing sauce on the meat balls "please" !!!!!

Absolutely love this place. 5* every time! Favourites are the garlic butter prawns and classic paella. The spicy lamb parcel on the specials was amazing last night and the halloumi with chutney will definitely be ordered again.

Visited yesterday, for a Saturday evening they were nearly fully booked but were able to fit us in as long we were finished in 90 min.

Have to say their squid has to be one of nicest I’ve ever had. Definitely go back here

For a tapas the portions are decent, not as big as they make out though.The cocktails were better than the Bull head. The service was good both members of staff we helpful HOWEVER we were a party of 8, didn't get back our tray with the change on, so they assumed it was ALL for a tip. 10p or £100 never assume give back the tray.I hinted but it went over her head �

We booked a table for two, for 6.30 arrived was greeted nicely by the staff and promptly show to our seats, the place was a little cold and a kind gentleman provided us with an electric heater, as the venue was quiet only about 6 to 8 people upstairs, the menu looked very good, the waitress suggested we order about 6 dishes for the 2 of us stating that that would be adequate,our order was taken and the food arrived within about 8 mins, we ordered stuffed aubergine, meatballs in tomato sauce, salad, olives, bread, pork loin, and potatoes, most of the food was very bland, the tomato sauce had a base taste of Heinz tomato soup

The aubergine was half and was obviously microwaved, the potatoes were hard and tasteless the pork loin was also microwaved and tough, the salad had more olives in than the separate order of olives, the overpriced food does not justify the cost, if your not really looking for quality food you may be ok here!

La Plancha is one of my favourite restaurants, love the food. My fiancé and I always struggle to choose from the menu choices. However our most recent visit was tainted when we were questioned about how much we had ordered, despite saying twice ‘yes we have been before’ and then being bet with a round of drinks that we won’t eat it all. We had only ordered what is advised on the printed menu. We will come again as we love it but it does put me off a little that we may be met by this judgement. We are paying regardless so please let us just be greedy piglets, your food is too good to choose from!

The website said you couldn't book a table so we were surprised when we got there that tables were reserved, apparently you can book if you want! Took ages to get served, 4 staff at the bar ignoring us didn't enamour us to the place and we'll probably not go back.
