Went to last night for my partners birthday and it did not dissapoint. We are big foodies and like to go to good restaurants. Lasan is one of our absolute favourites. Brilliant staff and the food is to die for. We will definitely be returning!!!!!

Went last night for my brothers belated Birthday Meal, the food there was out of this world, the staff were very friendly and slightly different to some of the Indian Restaurant’s I’ve been before. I would highly recommend this to my family, friends and colleagues.

Went for my friend’s birthday. Absolutely flawless service from start to finish. A warm welcome and a sincere goodbye. Food was amazing and when they realised why we were there they brought out a complimentary happy birthday dessert for my friend. Thank you Lassan, you were brilliant.

We came here for my 40th birthday dinner and I am writing this in the car on the way home - we have had a truly delicious and memorable meal and I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant for a special occasion. I had noted when I booked that two of our party of four are vegetarian, and when we were presented with the menus we were also offered additional vegetarian options and suggestions. Lovely relaxed meal in a beautiful setting with service that made us feel very spoiled indeed. Thank you ever so much, that was a really special evening.

Visited on a busy Friday night. Service was flawless from Asad, Rez and Muj. The food was exquisite and our barman kept us amused at the end of the night while we waited for our taxi. The sharing platter was beautiful, and the duck egg was gorgeous. Expensive but worth every penny. Thank you x

The food was absolutely amazing. We got a range of dishes and were very impressed with the quality. The smell of the dishes were tantalising alone. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Best Indian restaurant around (and I have been to quite a lot in Birmingham). Service was excellent as the waiter was very attentive. Decor is very classy too. Looking for an excuse to come here again!

The food here is absolutely stunning. I went to the restaurant with my wife for a special celebration and couldn't have been happier. I have soft shell crabs to start which were amazing and lamb loin for mains. Whilst this is an Indian restaurant it is nothing like any I have tried before with subtle spicing and all the flavours. I will certainly come back.

Haven’t been here for a while and was aware that it’s had a makeover, also don’t think Aktar Islam is there anymore. Didn’t matter though, the place looks great and the food was just as good if not better! Service was impeccable and price was about what you’d expect for the quality.

Had the most amazing time grt food very helpful staff and manager making us feel comfortable making sure we are been attended to by the staff our wine glasses were feeled at all times the choice of foods were explained to us exactly what we were having lovely atmosphere will be definitely going again ..

Had my first visit to lasan last night for my 30th birthday meal, what can I say it lived up to everything I expected and more! Stunning food! Fantastic atmosphere the staff were very welcoming excellent service!

Excellent food and service staff very good too explain meals n whether u like hot ot medium tad high on meal cost compared to others but the decor and place is very good my only complaint and its a minor one is the menu is too small too read even. With glasses make it bold too hit you espec your top meals ive not eaten a better indian great will return

Best flavours come from the confident kitchen and it's very true to LASAN. More than the food its the staff, ambience and atmosphere adds a lot to our taste. We were greeted very warmly by the manager(to my surprise I was addressed by my name the moment I entered). The services were very well pitched and timed, everything is just been done like said.



Seems like its been recently refurbished and highly distressed antiqued mirrors are just uniquely contoured. Totally recommended, definitely coming back soon!!!

Arrived early but no problem for these guys. Cocktails good. My bouche was amused. Starters amazing. Guinea fowl main nom nom. The pinot gris and barolo were both faberlus. Coming back soon

A tantalisingly written menu with lots of new dishes. We spent a long time pouring over the dishes and kept changing our minds. A sign of lots of tempting food to try. The new interior is comfortable and relaxing, staff are knowledgeable and attentive. A great night out.

Went last night loved the restaurant layout before...the restaurant seemed a lot smaller. Not enough choice for vegetarians as only one main but told to order side dishes if I prefer. Side dishes were nothing to rave about lentil Dahl lacked taste was very bland. Disappointed as been a couple of times before and not a patch on what it was. Would not return as there are now much better places around.

We were rushed....rushed from the bar, rushed through starters, rushed main course. Staff patrolling, overly attentive, polite but felt we were under scrutiny ready for large party of 20 expected. Was home in pyjams by 8.30pm ...disappointing.

We had a fabulous meal at Lasan, the service was top notch too. The only thing is not one of the 11 of us would ever return nor recommend this place as a matter of principle as the management charged us for 12 covers when there was 11 of us.



Sometimes word of mouth reputation is worth a lot more than some cash in the till...



We left disappointed.

Went for birthday, got at time stated, was told to wait as waiter was not ready for us. Appetiser was not fresh, main had been sitting around and was 3 pieces of chicken with sauce. Asian friend was also not to impressed. Bill was £180 with drinks and we left. Service was ok but feel like they have lost it after winning f word. Wouldn’t go again think the more local curry houses are better value. Sorry
