We visited today to celebrate my mother's 83rd birthday, food was amazing, staff friendly and helpful changed out table for a more accessible one. One small gripe, the access is not good for anyone with mobility problems as there are steps, a ramp is needed.
Took my daughter for her birthday all I can honestly say is the staff were absolutely amazing my daughter is a vegetarian and they catered for her very well the caked and service on point at all times shall definitely be going back xxx
Took my Mum for a treat we had Afternoon tea for 2, all the food was lovely. I really didn't want to share the cakes as they were so nice.
Great selection of teas and a really good opportunity to try different types of tea as it is unlimited.
The food is lovely and the staff are very helpful x
Tea room is beautiful. So I would definitely recommend it to a family member.
Super service in a lovely Laura Ashley environment - very relaxing and pleasing to the eye. The gentleman who served us was particularly lovely - couldn’t have asked for better. I would highly recommend the coffee and walnut cake - it was stunning I’ll be sure to return
Such a lovely afternoon for our baby shower party. Continually asked if needed refills, was very aware of what the pregnant ladies in the party were not allowed which they changed to a choice of their own.
We will defiantly return here
Polite and helpful staff, fresh clean tea room, daffodils on each table, lovely food and teapots that pour with no drips!
Loved it...the surroundings, service, food, all were excellent. I was celebrating my birthday there yesterday with a friend. My friend splashed out for my special day, and we ordered the Champagne Tea, which was fantastic. I will definitely return some time. Just a suggestion - I think the atmosphere would be improved by possibly having some very soft, subtle, classical type music being played in the background.
Just perfect! The atmoshpere, food, service and every little detail in Laura Ashley decor. This afternoon tea was worth all effort to get to Solihull. Highlight of my UK trip.
Beautiful food and lovely service. A really nice breakfast.
A great place for afternoon tea, the room is nice and bright and lovely decor. Cakes tasted delicious and a great price
A beautiful afternoon tea well presented. Good food loads of it very tasty. Lovely staff. Unrushed and relaxing a definate recommendation. Very accommodating for my friend who is a vegetarian. Loved it
My daughter had booked a table for two to celebrate my birthday, the Tuesday before we went she had phone to ask for a table for three as my 88year old mom would like to have come, my daughter was told sorry fully booked so the two of us arrived had our afternoon tea “which was lovely “ and the intire time we were there Severn tables were empty so why couldn’t you accommodate !!!! When my daughter asked a member of staff she was told there had been a lot of cancellations not good!!! One member of staff not very welcoming..
A pleasant couple of hours spent with 3 friends for an early Birthday get-together for one of them. The sandwiches were tasty and scones, jam and cream lovely. Not so sure on the selection of 'sweet treats.' We were asked if we wanted more of anything and decided on more tea each. (Loved the glass tea pots) I think we could have had more sweet and savoury too. Haven't been to many afternoon teas but I do think others have been better value...shame also that my friend when booking wasn't told about the free upgrade too a Prosecco one on offer....I've seen seen this on their page since we went yesterday. Pretty surroundings and decor as you would expect for it being Laura Ashley..
The staff behind the counter looked very untidy - scruffy even and they looked out of place in what is quite a nice room. I expected a lot better because it's not cheap for what they serve.
Lovely surroundings but not good value for £20 per head in my opinion.
Sandwiches were fresh and cakes ok. Scones not brilliant.
Would I go again? Probably not.
Beautifully decorated room, food was delicious and very well presented and access/parking was easy. For a tea room coffee was very average and I was surprised children were allowed particularly the 1 that screamed n run around constantly whilst people were trying to enjoy lunch. Also asked if we may sit anywhere as there was a lovely window table for 3 but told we had to sit at another table.....fair dos if it was booked but no-one sat there for the entirety of our stay.
Incredibly average and a bit of a disappointment. Dirty tableware, lacked atmosphere and service was just an uninterested delivery of tea and an afternoon tea stand to the table. Not the usual afternoon tea experience. Laura Ashley should be mindful of using their brand if these are the standards. I would prefer to have spent the £20 per person for afternoon tea elsewhere.
