Actor and comedian Joe Pasquale began his career far from the entertainment industry, working at Smithfields meat market and at the Ford factory in Dagenham. It was during his brief career at a holiday camp that he entered the popular ITV talent show New Faces, in which he came second. From this moment there was no looking back

Our very own Box Office assistant Lucy Ball, bravely talks about her battle with Ovarian cancer and the steps she is now taking to spread more awareness and raise money to fund research and treatment. Please do have a read, it's alarming how many lives a day are still taken by this form of cancer.
We are all immensely proud of you Lucy and the courage you have shown to battle this illness and come out of it still smiling and so very positive.

User

great place for a great night out np matter what you decide to do.

User

Went to see King Of Pop The Legend Continues staring Navi. It was just amazing. The staff were amazing at keeping the que of fans under control and moving so we all got the chance to meet Navi. I will say the show was amazing and enjoyed myself so much will definitely see him again

User

We watched You Win Again the story of the BGees it was very good, just to let you know all the ladies entering the venue had their handbags search by security, I didn't mind but I am sure it someone was going to try a sneak something in ie their own drinks in they wouldn't put it in their handbags, the show was very good and will have already booked more shows in the near future

User

Had a great time at Abba mania the only problem we had was the seats that were booked were from E9-13 .There was no seat 9 in any of the rows and where the seats were located we had no view of the stage as the speakers were so far forward. We were moved to better seats though.

User

Great night at busted made better by the man doing security at the end of stage closest to the bar.. wasn't taking any crap from the girls acting dangerously and made sure everyone was ok :) and busted were awesome!! They need to come back!!

User

Fab night watching the material girl. Thank you for our free tickets much appreciated xx

User

Amazing night last night a cream unbelievably good.

What a great venue. Hoping it will come back next year .

User

Went to see mj was really good but it was too loud the chairs are to close every time people trying to get passed and nearly squashing my legs where there is no room for walking and the lights where awful

User

The drum set is not in the right angle. The drummer cannot be seen properly and the light reflection from the light focus in stage was direct to the drum which reflection goes direct to the eyes of the audience in the center seat area

User

Tea & cakes were really nice but dreadfully slow service... PLEASE get more staff so tables can be cleared (customers do not do it themselves!) The tables on the rooftop are lovely but nowhere near enough of them...but then with service as slow as it is at moment they could never cope..a beautiful setting but sadly will soon loose popularity because of very slow service.

User

Really enjoyed the show. Dream boys. They were ace atmosphere and the building were great. The only criticism I have is all those customers and a serious lack of staff on the bars. I gave up and sure a lot of others did to.

User

My only pet hate is when people keep getting up during the performance, and feel the bars should be closed during the performances, we had people behind us who were obviously drunk and we're relieved when they left 3/4 of the way through, but wished it had been sooner.

User

Good evening with the ELO Experience. Costs of drinks etc. In line with most other theatres. Must thank the staff for ensuring that their promise made in January when the original show was postponed was honoured. Have been to this venue several times and have never found any problems.

User

The show we saw was the Carpenters story which was excellent. The hall itself is not that great, I bought 2nd row tickets which were the highest price but these were off to the left of the stage so we spent the evening with our heads turned to the side which was uncomfortable plus we were right in front of the speaker. I actually think the balcony seats are better, wished I'd purchased them instead.

User

Most uncomfortable seats I've ever had the misfortune to sit on - and no leg room. Also - the prices! £4 for a tub of ice cream Apart from that not too bad. Not great but not awful....

User

The show we watched was amazing, the venue not so much. When you look around the place is very uncared for and £3 for a regular bottle of pop is disgraceful, won't be in a rush to go again.

User

The chairs are too close together, whoever puts the chairs out needs to leave a gap. I had no room to move, it felt like the lady sitting next to me was sitting on my lap and neither of us were big ladies. I had the man sitting behind me knees in my back all night. A lot of people where complaing about being squashed in. The drinks are way over priced £2.50 for a small water is disgusting. I don't think i will be going back.

User

Tables way too close together. Lift broken, ruined my evening having to walk down all down and up those stairs, still in pain 2 days later especially with people tripping over me due to the confined space. Unlikely to return

User

Show was great, parking brillian in the adjacent car parknd the staff were friendly and polite that all was great. However drinks and refreshments were overpriced and the seats left a lot to be desired. I appreciate that it is not a full time theatre but to have fold up seats all on one level does nothing for comfort or an uninterupted view of the performers on the stage, Perhaps its something that could be mentioned in the booking process to make it clear. If we had known we would not have gone.
