Ledbury Poetry Festival Description
The UK's longest and largest poetry festival with ten days packed with poetry readings, slams, family activities, poetry workshops, conversations, events and celebrations. Winner of Visit Herefordshire "Best Community Festival" Award. Ledbury is a market town in rural Herefordshire, nestling under the Malvern ridge in some of England's finest countryside. Come and join us! Our programme will be online in spring.

Wow wonderful treat of language dance music and new learnings
Really enjoyed my day at Ledbury Poetry Festival. I especially liked the talk by Andrew O"Hagan on his time with Seamus Heaney.
As always, this was a wonderful event. So many things to do and see and take part in. If you think poetry is stuffy and boring and elite, you'd realise just how wrong that thought was by coming to a festival event. Music, art, stories all go on here. Friendly people to share it with, events in pubs and alleys, gardens and manors and castles. I came (uninterested in poetry) about six years ago with my OH and have been coming back ever since. I even bought my first poetry book this year! Congratulations to Chloe and all the team for an excellent 20th year.
