What an amazing set up!

Great location, decent rooms, great food and the gardens and old buildings are fantastic.

Nothing is too much trouble for the staff here.

Brilliant, why go to St Georges when you can stay here!

User

We booked a room as a base for a show we were attending in Telford. Absolutely fantastic place. Nice clean room, very friendly staff. I would recommend Lilleshall whole heartedly

User

Very friendly staff, rooms clean and a good size, the grounds are absolutely stunning very well kept , full English breakfast in the price enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to others and stay here again

User

The staff at Lilleshall made our stay even more amazing, the reception staff were very accommodating, friendly, and kind and the cafe staff were also very friendly.

It was perfect, we met Team GB gymnastics through Rays of Sunshine and our experience really was fantastic.

The accommodation was lovely, very clean. The building was like something from a film, very interesting, we loved it. The grounds are beautiful, and the whole experience perfect. We would love to visit again sometime. Highly recommended. Thank you. From Steve, Jo, Thomas & Ella. X

User

Spent a few days here at a conference and it was excellent. The food was delicious with a good selection with generous portions, all served by friendly effecient staff. The rooms were clean and well maintained again the domestic staff were cheerful, welcoming and proud of their work and wanted us to enjoy the experience.

Heather ensured our needs were met and did it all with warmth and care.

The grounds were better than many NT gardens I have paid to see.

The bar was cheaper than the pub and staff were great. A well deserved 5* rating...thank you .

User

Lovely and peaceful. Grounds are beautiful. Good food and very reasonably priced. Lovely place to just get away from things.

User

Great facilities.. Shame we got beat in our cup final, staff and hosts were great too...

Hopefully we'll be back next year

User

Friendly staff and a comfortable room. Thank you.

User

Friendly helpful staff, lovely grounds and great facilities. Look forward to my next visit.

User

Fantastic accommodation, and the full board option is as cheap as chips. Well worth staying on site for the StrongFirst Course.

User

Absolutely wonderful atmosphere and beautiful service and surroundings..

User

Absolutely mesmerised by the surrounding estate and original buildings, the accommodation buildings were a little like my old school dorm, but it is fundemetaly a sporting facility, and in that sense, it ticked all the boxes, it was very clean and tidy, i slept well, and got to have breakfast in a beautiful dining hall, and surrounded by all the avid sports people in there only added to the enthusiasm of my mood, it's good to see such good work going on in a world I wouldn't have ordinarily gone to in any other capacity, brilliant stay!!

User

Overnight stay for our inline hockey team. Very impressive site. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable , bar drinks & snacks reasonably priced . Breakfast buffet had plenty of choice and good quality.

User

I booked a room here as I was shooting in a weekend archery competition. What a fantastic location! I stayed in a nice room in Kent Hall, very clean and comfortable with a super view. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when I wanted to extend my stay. The cooked breakfasts were a little disappointing as a vegetarian alternative to sausages and bacon wasn't offered, but at least there was scrambled egg. There were good healthy options. The toast was a bit anaemic though. I would have preferred an earlier starting time for breakfast as the shooting registration began from 8am. The dinner in the main hall was good value, as was the food in the snack bar. Overall, a good experience and I'd definitely stay in the same accommodation again.

User

And you can even get a game of golf at Lilleshall Hall Golf Club.

User

Amazing grounds and superb sports facilities.

Breakfast was good quality but very hard to find the actual room to eat in. ( needs a few signposts)

Prices in the cafe were very reasonable and good quality.

User

Beautiful location, fantastic sporting facility BUT! It's offered on various hotel websites, anyone can stay there & I really struggle to see why Lilleshall nsc is marketing the place as such!

Certainly novel to stay in but couldn't help but feel we were paying a lot (£86), for little more than youth hostel accommodation, that even as an elite sports person I would've been dissatisfied with!

The taps at the lowered sink in the bathroom were nothing less than hopeless - supposedly water saving, except they were so stiff, they either dribbled ineffectively or sprayed high pressure over the walls, floor & u! Very annoying & definitely not saving water! The lowered sink was pointless, never could a wheelchair fit through that bathroom doorway!?! There was a sensor light which was obviously on a timer ....ok that's fine EXCEPT that the room has no natural light & the sensor kept timing out when I was in the shower! Annoying yes, frustrating yes & very dangerous! Wet, slippy, unfamiliar surroundings & dark : disaster waiting to happen Lilleshall!

The room had a few phone sockets but no phone... now I accept that most people have mobiles, however in an emergency a direct line would be useful as we stayed in Kent block & it is quite a way from the main house/reception!

Breakfast - oh dear! 7:30 till 8:30, even on a Sunday! This is particularly bizarre as check out is later & the place is offered as a wedding venue! And when u bother to go it is rather disappointing as the cooked offerings are tasteless &, the seating arrangements are so youth hostel like it's scary - there's plenty of tables, why can't some be for 2 instead of 4 plus?

So, in summary - fabulous setting, great views from rooms, comfy beds, love the history &, gorgeous gardens with some of the best & most unique sporting facilities! My advice - Cater for all your guests Lilleshall or stop offering accommodation to the general public!

User

The facilities are quite good, however no induction to use the gym equipment was given when joining. After cancelling a contract with them and being told that was fine.... And paying to get out of the contact; I am still paying a monthly direct debit and they say they won't let me out of a contact unless I get a doctors note to say i am unable to use the equipment. Be careful when signing their contract as they do not make this clear. Their overall help on this matter had been abysmal and they do not seem inclined to refund any more or even cancel my contract... Even though I'm in another contact with them, just at another gym! This matter remains unsolved since November 2014!

Overnight stay for our inline hockey team. Very impressive site. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable , bar drinks & snacks reasonably priced . Breakfast buffet had plenty of choice and good quality.

User
