Pleased to announce we have been given the opportunity by Wok 'n' Roll to host our two honesty baskets of traybakes and cakes etc in their shop from Monday 3rd December until Friday 21st December 2018. We will review our situation with the current honesty box (which is now closed due to three thefts in November) in the new year. Any pre orders can still be collected at my house and delivery is available. Thank you Lucy & Jackal x

What a wonderful little place. Came in for an afternoon tea with my MIL and hubs after a gruelling day at hospital and had a wonderful afternoon.
Food was fantastic and the chocolate orange cake was to die for. Lovely friendly staff and a wonderful place to go. Truly a hidden gem.
We tried the sandwiches, cheese on toast and baked potato between us and it was delicious! Not to mention the tea and cake afterwards. A lovely atmosphere with friendly staff. Well worth a trip out and a stroll around the nursery afterwards. Loved all the vintage plates and cuttelrey :) x

Thank you Sarah for supplying excellent home cooked food for our training courses! We'll be back!
Such a sweet little tearoom. So lovely that it's nestled next to the garden centre (plants, tea & cake! I couldn't think of anything better). x
Stopped off for tea & cake. Lovely! & very generous pot of tea!! Will definitely be coming back.
Sarah's tearooms were a great base for a creative workshop that I recently attended with some other ladies. The vintage accessories that are available, together with the home made cake and teas were just what we all needed. You have a lovely approach to your business Sarah and I can see why you're going from strength to strength. See you again soon. Carole x

Had a lovely lunch with cake and a huge pot of tea! A lovely little place
Booked an afternoon tea with the tearoom. We had a lovely sandwich made fresh with lovely ingredients. Usually in an afternoon tea you get pre decided sandwiches but at Lilys you get the sandwich of your choice, followed by scones with clotted cream and jam and then a large slice of homemade cake. We brought our cake home as we were too full to eat it.
A great stopping off place with delicious cakes and snacks. You get served a proper pot of tea, sandwiches with relish and crisps areal treat.
Not impressed at all. I had a Victoria sandwich that was very dry and extremely sweet and I was told the only drinks available that is cold was milk, ginger beer or a fruit shoot. On a positive note my mum really enjoyed her carrot cake and pot of tea. I will not be returning.
We went back here for lunch, having been a few times. We won't be going back.
It took half an hour from ordering to getting a sub-standard 'meal'. It wasn't that busy at all and I don't mind waiting if something is excellent. This was not the case.
I ordered a Ploughman's lunch. I was really looking forward to it. It was virtually inedible.
The warm roll was half stale and half wet due to, I would guess, being defrosted in the microwave. The butter tasted slightly sour.
The coleslaw had that slight fizz to it, suggesting it was on the turn. The two small pieces of cheddar where dry and mouldy. The ham was a thin slice of processed meat from a packet. The pickled onions, chutney and tortilla chips were ok - guess they only took a jar / packet being opened.
When I mentioned how disappointed I was, as the food was usually good, I was told that the server didn't know how it had happened! I do - the food was old and it hadn't been checked.
Waste of time and money. I'd recommend you don't go here. There are plenty of good alternatives around. Big shame.
