Everything we do is available to takeaway 💙 from freshly made salads and pasta boxes, homemade soup of the day, homemade meat and potato pie, full English breakfasts or baps, jacket potatoes, homemade quiche, freshly made sandwiches. Not forgetting our homemade cakes and scones! Our packaging is environmentally friendly also as we use materials such as bagasse and Kraft boxes. We recycle all our cans, bottles, jars and have cut out plastic from our tearoom as much as possible! Whist I have sat in the warm, clean and friendly tearoom this morning; I have seen local businesses representatives delivering delicious local produce here.

I love supporting the local economy; especially when it is so yummy!

We just love it here. Great coffee tea food and cake and friendly helpful service.

The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The tea was a little weak for my taste so I simply asked for another teabag and they gave me 1, no problem. The food is lovely can recommend the bacon and mozzarella quiche yummy. My husband loves the teacakes. Well worth a visit when your in Leek.

I visited today with my three sisters for afternoon tea and we all really enjoyed it. The food was delicious, especially the homemade quiches & cakes. The staff were really friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back. Thanks �

I organised a baby shower for my friend and 29 of her friends and family in the downstairs room of The Lion House Tea Room.

What can I say. They were so helpful through the whole preparation process and made it very easy for me to organise. They met all the dietary requirements and tastes of the guests. The tea and coffee flowed all afternoon and the food was gorgeous, especially the quiche and the cakes were beautiful. Very cheap for what you get. The room was very pretty and easy for me to incorporate my decorations. All the China and set up was so pretty. I would definitely recommend using this venue for any upcoming event or even just for some lovely food! Easy 5 stars � ����

I had the most amazing chocolate and mars bar cake made for my husbands birthday.it was the best cake i have tasted. I can highly recommend this place.

I booked an afternoon tea for myself and my mum and it was absolutely amazing!! We made our choices on the day and everything was delicious. I had joked on my booking that as I'm pregnant anything chocolately would be good and they had baked a chocolate cake specially!! We were in there for two hours, and didn't feel at all rushed. Friendly helpful staff and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Fantastic little tea room in the centre of leek. You can't beat fresh home made produce what these guys are providing, nothing is too much trouble for them. Looking forward to my salad at work later. �

Charlotte has done a amazing job at refurbishing this office space into a wonderful, welcoming tea room. The service, food, cakes, scones and coffee are fantastic, definitely pop in for a cuppa.!
