Went there yesterday, we were 6 including 2 young children.

The service was super friendly and attentionate.

Most importantly the food was delicious, we all had a 3 course meal and we all were delighted with our dishes....tasted special, like a futur award winning restaurant.

Wine (Malbec) was yummy !

I will go back as it’s my local and for once we found a place that serves great roast in Moseley!

Went on Saturday with girlfriends, awesome food at great prices. The waitress and waiter were really friendly and helpful. Will be coming again soon.

Went last night for the 1st time. Service was great and food bloody lovely. Can’t wait to try the Sunday lunch. Definitely go again �

We went yesterday for Sunday lunch, we received a very warm welcome as soon as we walked through the door from Sophia. The food was wonderful, scallops, beautiful rare roast beef, followed buy the specialty pud. The wine selection was extensive, the Sancerre delicious. This place is a gem, I would strongly recommend it. We will certainly be back soon. Thank you to Ben, Sophia and the team, for a great afternoon.

We went to Little Blackwood for dinner last night. The staff were friendly and made a real effort to get to know us.



We ordered the wonton broth and steak tartare followed by the lamb and the brisket. All of it was absolutely delicious.



It’s so nice to have somewhere to eat out that serves high quality food at a great price.



Well done Little Blackwood. We’ll be back very soon.

Visited Little Blackwood last night to test the menu. An excellent meal in great surroundings. I am sure Ben and his team will enjoy great success in this new venture.

What a new hidden gem...

have to commend the lovely Sophia for her front of house welcome.. professional but also gorgeous and charming.. as for the food.. where to bloody start! Won ton broth.. tried not to lick the bowl.. rack of lamb.. pinky gorgeous bursting of lambiness.. fondant and ratatouille.. I was a little full!!

Then the doughnut extravaganza... no other choice but perfect sugared dough balls of perfection.. clever idea Chef..

So in for a penny.. cheese ordered.. hallelujah, another 10/10.

This place is amazing! Great atmosphere, excellent cocktails and top notch food! Will be back soon, as need to try each flavour of Ben’s scrummy Bao buns!

The dishes were very well presented and tasted delicious. Lovely staff who were friendly and efficient, particularly as we were a large table. All in all a great meal!

Second visit to this incredible place! Popped in first on Good Friday for lunch and we were all blown away with the food especially Ben’s BAO Bar! Second visit was for Sunday lunch, the Mushroom, Lemongrass and Onion Broth starter was to die for. The beef was cooked to perfection and the cocktails were equally fantastic! Popped in for lunch yesterday and enjoyed the excellent food and wine. Small menu with beautifully prepared and presented food from the specials board. We were impressed that Ben could talk us through the source of all ingredients. Top marks for quality of food and cooking. Excellent wine list too! Little Blackwood is a favourite for lunch and dinner. We love it.

One of the most exciting new restaurants in Birmingham at the moment. Non-stuffy, friendly service and a chef that cares about delighting his customers while offering excellent interesting dishes. This place is only going to get better and better. It is just what Moseley needed.

Fantastic evening had last night. We were a table of 6 and from the moment we arrived everything was spot on. Great food, great service, great wine - what’s not to love!

Fantastic Sunday lunch today. Crab Mac and a cheese was delicious, we all loved the roast chicken and the giant donut with champagne and vodka ice cream to finish was triumph. Thank you. We WILL be back!

Came here for dinner last night, firstly they very kindly made my friend a personalized cocktail which she loved.



Had a perfectly cooked steak followed by a lovely steamed Asian doughnut complimented with a lovely sorbet.



Great food, great staff, great restaurant and a great date
