As you can see she was a box colour black so we lightened her first in a balyage technique and then went in with a deep but vibrant red over the top ­¤ŹÆ Oh and re-cut her bob back in ­¤ÆćŌĆŹŌÖĆ’ĖÅ #colourcorrection

­¤Æź C O L O U R C O R R E C T I O N ­¤Æź Have been so bad at taking pics of my work of late,I did some amaze work last week an took no pics ­¤Öä So I remembered today­¤śĆ Ok so let's talk about this before and after,Abbi had been colouring her hair the darkest colour possible for about 13 years,so although this before and after pic may not look like a major transformation or one of my more drastic job's it is considering how much build up of colour was on the hair (about 5 le...vels of lift from a level 1 to a level 5 was acheived in today's visit) This will be a process and I have given my client a long list of at home products she'll need to use to maintain the hairs condition. The end goal is to be a lighter brown with mid blonde peices through. These job's are big one's but well worth putting the salon hours in for ­¤Æ¬­¤Æó #colourcorrection

­¤øæ C O R R E C T I V E W O R K ­¤øæ Major colour correction going on here! Ok let's talk about this colour transformation and why it was so time consuming,my client hadnt been for 7 months so had major re - growth going on(her natural colour is auburn so lots and lots of warmth) my client wanted the end result to be a silver white blonde so had to eliminate as much warmth as poss.we then had discolouration on the previously lightened blonde to deal with also.so i had to lif...t the roots back up and colour the inbetween hair,bare in mind i did a full head of back to back baby lights so the hair inbetween was literally strands,i also then toned all of the hair after to bring the old blonde back to life and blende the whole look with no lines any where. The picture doesn't do it justice,in real life its more icy silvery,And looks brighter. ŌÖŻ’ĖÅ C O L O U R C O R R E C T I O N ŌÖŻ’ĖÅ So this is a work in progress ­¤Æ¬ our end goal being a silver / grey balayageŌØä So this was Emma's 2nd visit today. The before pic was from the first time she came(5 weeks ago)she'd been colouring her hair a blue black for many many years so we both knew that it wasn't going to be a quick process,also she has rapunzel hair,literally for days,So this means you double up on everything,time/product etc. But I'm really really pleased with the ...result so far,we've gone up around 6 shades over 2 appts,with her hair still feeling healthy and maintaining that beautiful length! This is always a long process,we are up to around 8 hours so far! So will always take time and money and commitment from the client to make sure they are looking after their hair at home.to ensure that it is done correctly and to achieve the desired end result with minimal damage(All lightening process's will cause damage to the hair to a certain degree)
