The only thing that disappointed me about Loco Lounge is the fact that I have never been there before. It was hard to find fault with the place. We were part of a large group, and the staff couldn't do enough to help us! The place had a real cool vibe about it, and not only that it was super family friendly! There was plenty of high chairs, and even books and toys for children to play with. The kitchen did their best to bring all our meals out together and the food was great!

Of all the places serving food and drink in Kings Heath (and there are many), I favour the Loco. It’s hip and mellow, wide and spacious, whilst also feeling pleasingly intimate. The Loco has long been a magnet for friendly enthusiastic staff: I always get a warm welcome from manager Kelly and her tireless team. What you’ll find here is personality. It radiates from the charming paintings on the walls, the fun competitions and charity events that have become core components of the Loco, and the approachable nature of the regular customers. Loads of choice on the menu. The tapas and the burgers are wildly popular. Plenty of gluten-free options, plenty of vegan options too. Come and join me at the bar. Mine’s a pint of Honkers!

Lunch time visit lovely atmosphere friendly helpful staff quick service at the bar and in bringing out food, good menu choice enjoyed our food. Also child friendly as had my 18 month old grandson with us highchairs provided and children's menu

Lovely people and food. Great service when I sent something back, got refund and replacement it was very nice � I come here because I like the vegetarian breakfast and different choice of vegan food too and mocktail gorgeous

I'm not one to leave restaurant reviews normally, but I had to for this one. Visited last night as a group of 7 adults whilst visiting family nearby. We chose this place due to the fact they have a gluten free menu which actually has more to offer on the dessert menu than ice cream. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food and most of us opted for tapas. The only down point was that some of the tapas was unexpectedly spicy, so I personally couldn't eat one of my dishes which was disappointing. However, the rest of the food was fantastic.

The staff here are very warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for me and my family despite us being a bit of a fussy bunch.

The décor is unique and interesting and the atmosphere is great.

As someone who can't eat wheat I couldn't wait to try the gluten free brownie. It did not disappoint. Absolutely delicious and perfectly portioned.

We enjoyed this place so much, my husband and I intend to visit our own one at Liverpool which we didn't even know about before.

Let's hope it is as successful a visit as Loco lounge was.

I went last night for my anniversary. The staff there were fantastic!! They were friendly and very thoughtful and were only to eager too help. The food was lovely and I would recommend the tapas. They have some great deals too! I enjoyed tapas and sticky toffee pudding and my partner had the super hero burger and chocolate brownie and we cleared our plates. The drinks were reasonably priced too! I have to say I was very surprised when I emailed to be told they would book a table for me when generally they only did for large bookings but would make an exception due to the fact we were celebrating our fifth anniversary of our first date which was at Loco Lounge. When we arrived the staff were only to eager to help and there were a bunch of flowers for me. Thank you and I would definitely be back again soon! Many Thanks to all the staff for everything you have done to make our evening so special.

Friendly staff looked after me and my daughter when she bumped her head moments after we arrived. Good food as always and managed a quick catch up with friends.

Food was lovely. I had meatballs on tapas menu and they were beautiful. Dare I say even better than Miller and Carter's. Cocktails very nice(Just need to have pornstar martini and pink gin available). Staff so friendly and helpful. And the restaurant lovely especially the terrace area.

I work in kings heath and walk past it every day and usually go to the wetherspoons as prices always put me off. But it's true that you get what you pay for and I will go back again... Really impressed

First visit yesterday afternoon and loved it! Staff friendly and kind. Lovely menu. Very decadent. Won't be my last visit that's for sure!

Tonight the waiting staff overheard my daughter talking about it being her birthday so they brought over complimentary cake! Nice �

Ok Loco Lounge get your act together . The vegan menu isn't exactly huge and the least you could do is stock enough desserts . This is the third time I've been in when you've run out of both chocolate and ginger torte and flapjack . Does this not tell you there is an unmet demand ?

My husband and I had a meal there earlier today. Whilst his meal was fine (the All Day Breakfast), I was really disappointed with my steak, which was over cooked (I wanted it rare but it was more on the medium side for the most part). The cut wasn’t particularly great - it seemed more like a flat iron steak than a 28 day aged sirloin prime cut. It was also the most expensive dish on the menu, so a larger portion of chips would not have gone amiss. The staff and service were great though. I would eat there again but definitely would never have the steak.

Went for sunday supper and was not happy with the slow unattentive service I received. After ordering 2 cocktails to accompany mine and my partners dinners, I waited 20-25 minutes for them and we had eaten both of our meals by the time they arrived to the table. The man making the cocktails, although friendly, was very slow and used his time talking to colleagues and doing other things instead of making them when there were in fact several other members of staff around to do those jobs.
