Lora-Lucia Fitness was founded April 1st, 2014 with the belief that there had to be a better way to provide personal training services. Instead of allowing clients to waste their money on a gym membership, time traveling back and forth to the gym and having to rush to get to the gym before it closed, Lora-Lucia Fitness eliminates the need for all of that.

We fit exercise into our client's schedules based on what is available for them. Whether you're a teacher that has to start class at 8am and needs to workout at 5: 30am or a professional that has to fit it in on their lunch break at work, Lora-Lucia Fitness comes to you, equipment included. Other than having gym clothes on standby, you as a client just has to be ready to work.

To further engage and provide support for our clients, we are rolling out online personal training. This allows our clients to bring their trainer with them wherever they go. They have their workouts on hand, their meal plans (either print-and-go or use our App) and of course - their trainer.

Lora-Lucia Fitness believes in making health and fitness flexible. We can always find a way to fit in workouts and to make healthier choices. Our trainers will figure out all of the hard stuff for you and then guide you through the process of becoming a leaner and stronger version of yourself.

The only thing you wonna do after hours of travel home... shower and practise ๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ โœจ Sitting still in a cramped position for hours can really aggravate my bulging disks and the best thing that helps release my tight back and hips is a bit of practise and a few good poses.

โœจTruth Time! ๐Ÿ˜ฒ I spent most of my life trying to get people to like me and desperately wanted to fit in.
If someone disliked me Iโ€™d obsess over trying to work out why and thought there was something wrong with me and it was my fault. I thought that if people accepted me and liked me that would translate into self acceptance and self worth but it does the opposite.
It took me a long time to learn that you simply canโ€™t please everyone and not everyone is going to like you.
... I stopped trying to change myself in attempt to fit in and started embracing who I am. Yeah Iโ€™m annoying sometimes, ok maybe a lot of the time ๐Ÿ™Š but I know that my intentions arenโ€™t ever to hurt anyone - quite the opposite and Iโ€™m proud of that quality.
I now spend my time with people who actually like me - the real me and love me despite all of my annoying traits. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Itโ€™s no longer about โ€œfitting inโ€ or about trying to convince people Iโ€™m worthy of love and acceptance. I am worthy - I know that now, although sometimes I forget momentarily but itโ€™s something Iโ€™m constantly working on.
Beautiful people, please donโ€™t EVER try to change yourself in order to fit in. Be 100% you and work on loving and accepting yourself. You can only truly belong when you are the real you.

Don't be afraid to eat out and ENJOY LIFE!
Happy Thursday and Happy Day 25 to my #28DBBC Challengers!
We've been talking about how to socialise on a diet lately and how difficult it can be to stick to your healthy lifestyle when you socialise.
... Some of the tips we discussed today were;
1) Take your own food if it's a birthday party and then you have something to nibble when that cake has you drooling ๐Ÿคค 2) Eat before hand if you can ๐Ÿฅ„ 3) Ask for your food to be dry-fried (with no oils) or grilled ๐Ÿณ 4) Opt for a healthy fat with your meal; eg avocado or salmon or cashew nuts ๐Ÿฅ‘ 5) Take your own home-made sauce and ask for a plain meal with no sauce so you can use your own (might sound crazy but you wont believe what the amount of sugar in restaurants will do to your blood sugar and insulin levels!).

... Wether you lift weights, your kids, or the groceries to the top shelf, you need muscles! In fact you even need muscles to stand, move and smile!
Muscles are essentially made from proteins and if your growing muscles or not you still need your daily proteins to maintain them!
