Writing this from our beautiful glamping lodge on the final night of a fabulous weekend celebrating my friends 30th Birthday!

6 giggling girls in one tent/lodge with our own hot tub!

We’ve had the best time, the site is fantastic, they have thought of it all, everything is top quality and nothing is too much trouble - plenty of fresh firewood delivered daily for the log burner and fire pit and they even dropped a little BBQ off for us to borrow!

Only one little suggestion - I’m sure for most campers/glampers this wouldn’t be a problem but the lodge is short on mirrors, 6 girls with one bathroom mirror, luckily we’d read this in an earlier review so brought our own !

This will definitely be a regular spot for us to visit, will be back again for future girl weekends and family trips the site is perfect for all occasions! Loved every minute, deserves 10stars

User

Without doubt the best site we have stayed at. Fabulous facilities. Pitches are huge and very well kept. I do agree with a few other people’s comments however about a lack of refuse/recycling facilities at the top of the site. My only other gripe is the publicised price increase for 2018. November next year sees an increase of ten pound per night compared to today (£20 to £30) which I think will deter quite a few people

User

What can I say lovely new site facilities where spotless ( didn't get key fob thing when going into toilets other campers felt same ) husband loved the cassette toilet washer went to use dog washer but was out of order but all looked gr8 .

Pitches are very spacious but the let down was having to manoeuvre on someone else is pitch ( fine if we had a motor mover no problem at all ) .and classed as super pitch only thing missing was Tv Ariel point for those that chill and watch the telly on the cold nights .

Play area was gr8 some things must of been designed for giant kids tho , let down if you have a pushchair a couple of ladies struggled to get round site for the gravel even the super duper pushchair struggled . Natural pool was just way to cold even on the hottest day got told the lake was warmer .

Loved the Hot tubs and so did the kids ( plenty folk put off by the kids )

Site is dog n kid friendly which for us is gr8

Yes missing a shop which would come in handy but not the end of the world & a big fry off menu would of been nice .

Lovely staff on reception very happy to help ( the Irish lady that had twice on the phone prior to coming was less than help full )

Dog walking paddock was gr8!

Can't wait to see the new changes when we come back hope to try posh Glamping too .

User

We stayed in one of the glampin yurts for a short stay over the half term break and it was fantastic! Only fault I could pick was no mirror in the bedroom for drying your hair etc. It's a great site with loads to do for the kids, mine enjoyed doing the assault course and playing football with the other kids. All the staff were super friendly and it was perfect for our dog to.

User

We stayed in motorhome for a three night stay as part of a two week trip. We were interested to visit the site for what it was offering. The caravan club have high standards and great sites but this one goes far beyond what the network offers. From arrival the site is immaculate even with the ongoing works putting the finishing touches. Every pitch is a good size and fully serviced, shower block was amazing and great showers. The reception area and coffee shop were good. The pool looked great but as a natural pool it is not heated and did not pluck up enough courage to go in. We have dogs and they are very dog friendly with excellent dog walks and bins throughout the site. They are currently developing a sociable barbecue area which when finished should be good. We found the staff friendly and quite rightly proud of where they work. For a new site they may have had a few teething problems but they seem to be getting a lot right. Will definitely be back next year to see how the site matures. A great addition to the Caravan club network.

User

We have been here for a week and can honestly say it is our favourite site we have ever stayed at. Staff are so friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The facilities are second to none. Luxury complementary toiletries and Dyson hairdryers in the shower blocks. Fully serviced pitches has made the waste chores so much easier. Hot tubs and outdoor pool were a hit with the children. Adults loved the yoga in the tent and movie nights in there too. Lovely having somewhere to sit and have a coffee (or a glass of wine) watching the kids play!

Only two small niggles..the shower block drains are slow and placed away from the shower itself so drainage is an issue and you get wet getting dressed every time. Also the cassette cleaning machine, launderette and dog wash stated new £1 coins only but it was hit and miss if they took the new coins. Staff were really quick to rectify however when issues occurred.

The new outdoor garden rooms and fire pit area still under construction but looking awesome!

Shrewsbury itself has lots to offer, we had some great days out-Hawkstone Park Follies is a must for a great family walk.

We are already planning our next family trip at Love2stay and girlie trip to the luxury glamping lodges in the New Year for a weekend treat for the mums!

Highly recommend and well worth all the hype. Well done guys..you have got it spot on for 5* luxury caravanning

User

We arrived at Love 2 stay on Monday for a week and I have to say I couldn't recommend it enough.

Plenty of space on each pitch which are fully serviced, toilet facilities if you use them are great and clean. There is lots for all the family to do throughout the day including an outdoor eco pool and hot tubs.

Activities include yoga, spa treatments, kayaking, paddle boarding, multi sports, woodland school, crafts and movie nights.

They only opened in May this year so the outdoor pizza ovens and fire pits aren't finished yet.

Dog friendly with a beautiful area for them to run around in.

They only down side is no onsite shop for your daily needs like milk and bread but they do have a garden centre and camping shop equipped for caravans in walking distance that have a shop which is open during normal opening times. Sainsbury's is 5 minutes in the car if needed.

We will definitely be coming back. If you like peace and relaxation then have a look.

We are just coming to the end of a 5 night break at Love2Stay and what an enjoyable time we have had. The facilities here are great, especially for the kids and our daughter has had a blast! The site is so very well kept and the staff go out of their way to maintain a high level of cleanliness and maintenance.

The little cafe/pizzaria is lovely, during the day they have home made cakes, sausage rolls, baps with bacon or sausage as well as snacks for the kids like Popcorn and ice creams. They have a wide variety of drinks such as various coffees, tea, juices, smoothies, milkshakes and other soft drinks, alcoholic drinks include 2 types of bottled beer, wine, prosecco and others.

The activities are a really good price for the amount of time you get, £6 for 45 mins of paddle boarding well worth it.

Separate football pitch, huge play area and other recreational fields for the kids.

Showers were always clean and I never queued once.

Pitches were very large and again well maintained.

The staff at this site we're very helpful, friendly and there was always someone on reception if you needed help, the activities staff were great with the kids and I would like to specifically mention Hope who was so good when she knew my daughter had not paddle boarded before.....thank you for making it so enjoyable and fun!

A couple of things that niggle me and are NO reflection on the site we're that despite having so much recreational space and a designated football pitch parents still allowed their children's to play ball on the touring pitch area behind caravans, balls being kicked into awnings under vans and cars, personally I think there should be no footballs in the touring area for this reason, as I say to my daughter you want to play ball take it to the field!!

The other thing was the pure disrespect for what the staff are trying to achieve here, we witnessed children pull up plants and throwing them, climbing through the flower beds, and again kicking balls into the areas where new trees have been planted, such a shame as the staff are always mowing, tidying etc trying to keep the site looking lovely for those who don't respect it!!

Thank you to all at Love2stay for making our stay so enjoyable, keep up the hard work as it shows the pride you have for your site.

Stayed for new year on the touring site, absolutely amazing stay! The facilities are fantastic, staff are really friendly and helpful & the New Years party they put in was brilliant, we will be coming back!

User

Staff are very welcoming, really helpful, site was spotlessly clean as were the toilets and showers, we had beautiful views, level pitches. The play area is fab, even a football pitch so no excuse for football's near any caravans. The glamping lodges look awesome too.

Could do with bins up near the toilet block, it's a bit of a walk to keep going down by reception and It would be good if the cafe did a variety of foods but we still loved it.

User

Perfect for families, loving the new addition of the beach and warm pool!

User

Love2Stay is still pretty New so you expect some teething troubles as staff get to grips with things etc. However, there were no teething troubles! Staff were all friendly and helpful and the facilities are top notch. Unfortunately the Beast from the East part deux put a stop to much we could do outdoors but the site, the park, the cafe bar, the washroom facilities, the staff and the views are all excellent. Wel'll be back!

User

I loved the site and the facilities are brilliant and very modern. However if the rumours are true about the increase in price I think it will spoil it as the sites location doesn’t warrant the price per night increase in my opinion. I have visited many sites including in Devon and these sites can demand a premium due to the location these sites are situated on.

User

Had a brilliant day today. Both kids and adults were very happy and even though we had to send our jacket potatoes back because they weren't cooked (very cold) we got our food back very quickly with apologies so well worthy of the 5 stars that i'm giving!

User

Great site, clean, tidy and beautifully maintained. Helpful staff. We had a fabulous week before the summer holiday rush. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back soon! Thank you!!!

User

Facilities are amazing. Loads for kids to do. We have 4 kids all loved everyday here. Pizza place on site was outstanding staff in there are brilliant. Very reasonable prices for activities (6pound each for kayaking for an hour) pitches were great spacious and no one walking through your plot. Laundry room was great. Play area/ park was big and great for the older kids. Toasting marshmallows round the outdoor camp fire was great. Everyone there was like minded and friendly. Great feel relaxed and safe vibe. Can’t wait to go bk

User

Now, don't judge me for this, but, I think this site has certainly lacked a bit in the planning stages...first problem was the space needed for reversing an average caravan on to a pitch was not adequate if you have no motor mover. We have an average size 4 berth single axle van pulled by a Sorento - we ended up pushing the van into place as we couldn't swing the car enough to manouevre properly unless we blocked the road for a time.

Facilities are excellent though, but I agree with a previous reviewer regarding the loo's a lot of wobbly seats and the "wave to flush" system is already bash to flush! Also agree about next door's water encroaching when showering. Plenty to do for older kids. Pool is cold but once you're in and moving around, it's absolutely fine for the summer.

Now, I'm all for dog friendliness, we have one of our own, but there is a distinct lack of poo bins around the place, especially round the cafe/pool area - one place I don't like depositing a bag in a general waste bin. Oh, and there should definitely be a bin/recycling area at the main amenity block.

Really, we are your traditional caravanners, we like the club sites but came to try this one for the sake of our small-ish one. Will we come back? Possibly not, it's a bit too commercial for our liking, sorry!

User

A five star site it might be, but the management could do with a lesson in people skill's.

We have just returned from a lovely week away at this site, Our first impressions were all good, nice friendly staff welcoming us and giving us our welcome pack and cards for the doors and barriers.

Pitch was great, very big and level, the bollard had all the services including a place to empty your loo if you had used the green fluid in it.

My only slight niggle was that for a fully serviced pitch i was surprised there was no aerial connection on the bollard as on other fully serviced sites, but did did not detract from a great pitch.

The pool and hot tubs are excellent, my son (12) enjoyed them both, our friends had booked on the pitch next to us with there two kids aged 14 and 11, they too loved the pool and hot tubs.

On arrival we was asked if we wanted to pay £20 for the week to gain access to the new section, hot springs pool and beach, we declined and said we would see what the weather does before we decided on it.

We didn't end up paying for it as both sets of kids thought it was more like a paddling pool and was suited more for toddlers than there age group.

The kids wanted to try some of the activities on offer and booked to go Zorbing and paddle-boarding, we didn't catch the names of the lad's that took the activities, but they were great with all the kid's there, helped and explained everything well.

My son and i visited the toilet block later that night and found them to be clean except for water coming from under the doors of the shower cubicles into the sink area, we found this also happened from both of our cubicles, the showers were very good but found it strange that there was no place to put your own shower gel whilst in there.

When we came out, we walked past a very well lit area in front of the dish washing area, but as we turned to go past the women's entrance there is a bench in total darkness and managed to smash my shin into it.

The next morning we was back in reception booking more activities with a lady who seemed to be the supervisor/manager, i told her about me walking into the bench and said you could do with putting maybe another light in above the benches to stop anyone else from doing the same, especially to stop a child from doing it.

She just rolled her eyes and turned away from me and started talking to someone else, her customer service skills here were shocking and i think she has no regard for peoples health and safety.

On our last full day before leaving the kids all wanted to have a go at the assault course and paddle-boarding again, the lad who took them on the assault course, i think his name was Aiden, took the group of kids around each obstacle, he had plenty of time for each child and did his best to encourage each child over the obstacles and helped them when they were struggling.

Unfortunately one of the kid's slipped and hurt herself and was unable to walk without assistance,Aiden went out of his way to help her with ice packs and even giving her assistance and her family, with getting back to there caravan on the back of one of there electric buggy's.

Aiden then went to reception to fill out the necessary paper work for the accident and inform the supervisor.

Due to her injury she was unable to attend the paddle-boarding later that day, the other two kid's started the next activity, but due to the weather (Thundering and lightening) was cut short after ten minutes, again Aiden was incharge of this activity and was asking how the young girl was after her injury, i thought that this lad could teach the management a thing or two about people skill's. (if they would listen).

We went into reception and spoke to one of the young girls on the desk to see what happens now with the activity being cancelled after only ten minutes, she didn't know, so went to ask her supervisor, the same middle aged woman that dismissed me the day before, came out and said that the activity had been cancelled to the weather, i said i total understand that, but do they get to go on the activity later, she said we could book them on again the next day, (the day we were leaving), i said that wasnt possible as we are leaving in the morning and wouldnt be here for it, i said i wanted a refund, she said we dont give refunds, at this point reception was filling up with other parents from the cancelled activity, she then gave me the refund, i think mainly to keep me quiet, but as i turned to leave i told the other parents that they were giving refunds for the cancelled activity's, her face said it all, i think this lady need's to ask Aiden for some advice about people skill's.

To sum it all up, i think the site is lovely, will it stay like this over the next few years, only time will tell.

Will we be back?, i don't know, i dont think we will be in any great rush to return, i think the directors of this company would not be impressed if they knew people were posting reviews saying how bad the attitude of there management is with there customers.

The staff were all very helpful and friendly, but feel as thou the management are not interested in you or your safety in the slightest, they are only interested in your money.

User

We stayed on this site early this year and I wrote a previous 5* review where we can not fault the site and what fabulous facilities it had and that we had re-booked for the following year.

We are a group of 5 vans and have now cancelled as the prices for next year have risen to what I can only say is shocking! £58 per night! We don't have kids so luckily enough we don't have to pay for all the activities on top of that as well as having to pay an additional £20 (which also may have been increased) to use the family bathroom for 24 hours!

Even though the prices were not available for the following year on booking we did not think that the prices would nearly double to what we paid this year, so we have also lost our deposit. someone is getting greedy as these pitches have plenty of time to be re-booked......angry is not the word!

We will not be returning but someone is getting greedy from all their success but I think they have to bear in mind that it was us, the customers that have built their reputation to where it is and now they are going to be upsetting a lot of their initial customers.

User
