Been a long time since I posted, not really been up to much, lately due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
A could of weeks before we went in to lock down, I shot a christening for a local family that I have worked with before and no doubt will do again in the future.

So as you can see by my cover picture, we've had a family vacation to Tenerife, arrived back on Friday and straight back to it on Saturday ! Even with damaged ligaments in my left leg.
With the assistance again of Simon Hemus, who did a sterling job we covered Amie- Louise and Ste's wedding at the amazing Regent Hotel in Shirley.
Think you'll agree they both looked stunning.

Well part one of the weekend over and done with, and what a trying day it has been. Not happy with breaking just one camera, but I went for two instead all in the same motion. Quick fix and juggle here and there and we're back in full flow.
The weather held out for us too which was good, even though at times it was a bit warm. After we came from the Dudley Register Office we had a walk around by the Priory Park, Dudley and took a seat on one of the benches. Taken in some lovely sunlight this natural shot of Dawn and John enjoying there time together on their special day.

Busy weekend ahead starting today with Dawn and John’s wedding at Dudley Register Office and Dudley Priory and then to Cradley Sports And Social Club Was Cradley Liberal for evening reception. Then tomorrow we help Lauren and Josh celebrate their big day at The Limes Country Lodge Hotel in Solihull.

Lovely golden hour light, taken at Bumble Hole in Netherton.

Had a great meeting this morning with Josh and Lauren who are getting married in 2 weeks time over at the Limes Country Lodge Hotel. Really looking forward to their wedding at this stunning hotel. Of course the camera went with me and I stopped off on the way home to get some random shots of scenery etc.
Loved the cloud formation on this, a barley field at the side of Racecourse Lane in Stourbridge.

Went back to my roots yesterday with motorsport photography, nice to see I hadn't lost my touch. Great to see so many people I hadn't seen for nearly 10 years, unfortunately found out later there were a lot more I'd missed. Back to the weddings in the next couple of weeks.

Tonight I was hired to do a prom photo shoot for a local student from Ormiston Forge Academy, starting at her home with hair and make-up shots and then off to David Llloyds Leisure Centre in Brierley Hill.
Think you will agree Becky looked absolutely stunning, looking like royalty in this shot. Was a pleasure to work with her and I wish her all the best for the future.

So today was my step daughters prom at the West Midlands Safari Park. We had loads of pics taken at home and when she arrived at the venue. Just fine shot for now going through them that really stood out was a very candid shot. Caity you looked stunning.

Before the prom and wedding season kick off for us below are some of the things I've been up to over the past weeks / months.
A selection of wildlife and scenic shots from various locations close to home that most of us pass on a daily basis without really appreciating what we have so close to home.

User

Brilliant, but I bet that took some practice

User

What a great idea
