Lullabyz Nursery Description
Lullabyz is a private day care nursery caring for children from 0 to 8 years. We are registered by the Care Standards Inspectorate for Wales (CSSIW) for full or half days, between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. We are open all year with the exception of Bank Holidays.
The nursery is owned by Nicola Reed, who is also the manager along with Louise Touhig. Both are qualified primary school teachers who have over twenty years experience of working with children between them. They are highly professional and are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care for children.
We are fortunate to have a unique property that has been renovated to a high standard. It covers approximately 324sq metres over two floors and has been specifically designed to provide large amounts of floor space in which children can explore their creative sides! The nursery has a high level of security with electric gates at the front of the property, external and internal security doors and CCTV cameras throughout so that you as parents can relax in the knowledge that safety is a number one priority.
The building is situated very close to the city centre of Newport and within easy reach of the M4 motorway. There is ample parking in bays outside the nursery as well as a dedicated drop off point on site for the safety of children and parents alike.
We have an open door policy at all times so we invite you to come along and find out what makes our nursery so special.

A big thank you to Sarah and Emma from Louby Loo's storytelling who visited the nursery yesterday. The Preschool children absolutely loved all the interaction used to tell the story of the Gingerbread Man and were talking about it all afternoon - especially the 'nanna' who they found particularly hilarious!!
To all parents who pick up by car - I have just been approached by one of the neighbours, who asked me to go outside to look at the way cars had parked around the nursery and I can see why he was so upset. One car was partially blocking the gates and 2 had literally been left in the middle of the road. One house in particular has bollards on the road as he needs access for his own business but cars are simply stopping on the other side of those bollards and are blocking traff...ic in the road. I know parking is difficult at certain times of the day but please use the parking bays or nursery carpark during drop off and pick up times. If there is not a space available, please wait and don't simply abandon your vehicles. We do have a good relationship with our neighbours and they are very patient during busy times of the day so we don't want to jeopardise this and cause further problems in the future. Nic and Lou came to the rescue when I needed to find a new wrap around service for primary school. The kidz club has given Freya the best care and made me feel confident that she is in good hands. Loads of different activities and good company, just scarey that she will have to leave in 6 months �
My son (3) started here just 3 weeks ago and we couldn't be happier with the care he's receiving! He's so happy to go and he doesn't look back when I drop him off. It makes leaving him so much easier knowing he's so happy!
My little girl loves going to nursery, she never wants to leave so that shows me how much she loves it. Nic lou and all the girls are so lovely and friendly! Wouldn't recommend any other nursery, it's fab!
Lullabyz is not just a nursery, it's a community. I could not recommend it highly enough: my little boy absolutely adores every member of staff that works there. The staff put everything into it, it doesn't seem like a job to them - they are there because they love it! Nic and Lou put so much extra into it, summer fetes, BBQ's, Christmas nativities: you name it, they do it. I would never consider any other form of child care for my son.
Love this nursery and so do my son he's only been for a few sessions now and I can't fault them. I love picking him up and reading through his book to see what he's been up to for the day had no problems there definitely recommend them thankyou�
I just want to say I was absolutely gutted taking Jaxon from Lulabyz after his last day yesterday. I wish he could stay but it's easier with a nursery closer to home due to work commitments. The staff are amazing and Jaxon loved spending time there. I love his "Learning Journal" as well. Highly recommend Lulabyz xxx
Daisy loves it at the nursery!!! If it wasnt for Nic and the girls I wouldn't have been able to go back to work as other nursery's just didn't compare. Friendly, clean, I'm happy that when I pick her up she's content after being well fed and cared for :) you do a brilliant job girls!!!! :) xxxxx
