Highly desirable vintage style mesh headlight grilles which are suitable for Bay Bus 1968 to 79, Bug 68 onwards, and Type 3 from 68 onward. These original style grilles give that perfect period look to 68 onwards vehicles. Requires no modifications to your headlamps, they have a neat clip at the top that hooks in between the glass and the chrome headlight rim, then simply fixes at the bottom using the original mounting bolt. Easy, and very classy. Supplied as a pair, no fittings are required. Could also be used on Karmann Ghia, but you would need to modify them, as the bottom tab is not quite long enough to reach under the rim. This modification applies to Karmann Ghia fitment only.

BACK IN STOCK! As we know oil is the lifeblood of any engine and keeping the oil in good condition is paramount to the well-being of your engine. By simply replacing your original dipstick with the "Save my Bug" oil temperature dipstick, then attaching an 18" wire (included with the kit) to the oil pressure switch, you can monitor your engine's oil temperature without the use of a gauge.
Your oil light will now serve two functions, it will continue to operate as an oil press...ure warning light as before, but will now also become an oil temperature warning. In normal conditions your light will remain off, if the light starts flashing then your engine temperature is getting too hot. If the light comes on solid, then your engine temperature is definitely too hot and you should stop the engine.
So now when you are chugging up a long incline or you are sat in a traffic queue you can actually tell when the oil temperature starts to rise, and before it hits a critical temperature you can do something about it. Saving you time off the road and lots of money on engine rebuilds.
This product is compatible with all 1200cc, 1300cc, 1500cc and 1600cc based engines for Beetle, Karmann Ghia, and Bus / Camper.
