We went out for a meal here with some friends of ours last weekend. What a great quirky fun restaurant/pub..fabulous atmoshere and welcoming staff ..The pies were outstanding.!! .best pie we have ever had. This was our first time here and will be back again soon..we will certainly be recommending it to our friends.10 outta 10..😎☺

User

We came last night we had a brilliant evening the staff was very friendly and really good with our children the food was lovely very reasonably priced and served in good time! We would definitely recommend dining here very family friendly and we even got to take pies and ale home!

User

Visited for the first time since 20+ years ago. Was easy to book. Received a warm welcome from staff members. I ordered the Brexit - See EU Later Pie. It was crammed full of beef brisket and a very tasty gravy. It was an absolutely fabulous pie. Everyone in our group enjoyed their pies. Had various pints of Lumphammer to drink which were all great.

The surroundings are amazing. So much to look at. Excellently decorated. Can’t wait to visit again.

This is the type of place you think about all day before you go... proper meaty pies with perfect pastry, amazing crunchy chips, great selection of beers and drinks, relaxed atmosphere, welcoming and friendly staff, and great value - ticks all the boxes! Thanks!

User

Second time I’d been here (last time was 2years a go) and still an amazing experience. Great bar with a good range of beer/ale/cider with friendly staff. Then we get on to the food. Between the 5 adults we had Steak, Minted Lamb, Stake & Stilton and the Steak & Kidney Pud and they were all amazing. The 2 kids had a burger and a small pie and I can assure you that every element was eaten. Happy as anything and walked away with 12pies for the freezer too! Highly recommend

User

Popped in for lunch with hubby..unplanned...meals were lush...so much meat in pies and so tender....chips actually tasted like chips...or should i say potato..instead of processed fare from other places!!!! Its a fun novel place...staff are warm and fun...not intrusive or rushing of customers...Well done the pie factory!!! X

User

Love the Pie Factory. Visited a few times now and never had a bad meal. Had a carvery yesterday which was top notch! Always a great carvery with 3 meats, roasted, mash and veg, gravy and choice of sauces. Very good value for money. The pies and fish and chips are also very tasty with the most amazing chips! Love it!

User

I have been here several times with family and friends and never been disappointed either with staff, service or the food. The pies are delicious and I would totally recommend it ..

User

Had an amazing late Xmas do today for 20+ of us. Food was piping hot, generously portioned and spot on. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Service was great even though it was really busy. Will definitely go again and try the Sunday carvery which looked delicious

User

Great place and lovely food, not just he pies but the steak too!

User

Great food every visit, I love the Bullocks pie, other half always tries the pie of the week and son loves Mixed Grill on a shovel 5

User

Fantastic meal. Soooo much meat in the pie. Lovely chips and onion rings. Highly recommend.

User

Excellent meal, the pies are fab and not huge, the battered chips were good. The staff were friendly and the beer kept well.

User

Brilliant place. Fantastic food, loved the live music too. Really recommend for a great weekend!

User

Bang on grub, nice looking establishment with the old features, great menu's, nice selection of drinks nice lay out BUT the bar staff and waitress need to learn to smile, the girl who greeted us and took us to our table was nice and also the girl taking food orders and payment was nice but the rest? Sort of made you feel uncomfortable and put a downer on our visit, we have been before and WILL come again just need to make the staff look happy, pay rise perhaps?

User

Absolutely bostin!! Mixed grill on a shovel.... hubby had a desperate Dan pie... def not for the faint hearted.... fab beer and lovely staff.

User

Loved it,came up from Kent to see friends. It wasn't the best mixed grill I have had,but loved the shovel😊 my missus had the meat pie and said it was the best she had tasted for years. Band was good, two guys and a great lady singer. The fire outside, shame it's not working at the moment, get a guard around it to please the moaners. And Lumphammer mild,Nectar. That's good rating for a man from the county of the Hops. Will return.

User

Good food and good prices. Didn't have to wait long either. A bit more kidney in the S & K pudding would have been nice but still worth it. We've been loads of times and will go again although we do feel the Sunday lunches can be spoilt by screaming or shouting kids sometimes.

User

Well I had the Andy Murray very disappointing tasted like it came out of a tin naan bread Rock hard my miss had the faggots and mash the faggot where rock hard and the mash was just terrible not worth the money at all.
