It's Thursday afternoon and boy its sunny one ! Another one of our successful days is 'Curry club'! A drink and a curry served from lunchtime till 11pm tonight. A busy pub which is a good Sign, service was really Good, breakfast came out Quickly served by Saffron, which is a credit to the company with her welcoming smile and excellent service attitude, she did not stop making sure the tables were cleared, place looking tidy as well as serve, and wait on tables..

How do you run out of naan bread on curry night?? вАЬWould you like extra poppadoms?вАЭ

No thanks. IвАЩll tell you what IвАЩd really like...... my naan bread!!!

Would rate zero stars if I could - have never had a visit to this shambles of a pub without issue. Visited today and the barkeep didn't have a clue about the Tuesday offer, tried charging me virtually double for a meal listed at 7.99. Left, rang manager Chris to complain and his only response was 'she's new' - well, where the hell was her mentor then?? Left and spent £50 at Wetherspoons at Chepstow. With absolutely no problems with the service at all. You lot who manage The Mail Rooms ought to be ashamed of yourselves.

Ordered a mixed grill and a triple chicken combo. The chicken was ok but the mixed grill was pretty bad. Under cooked beef which was ordered well done, lamb which was chewy and pork which was like leather and a plate full of grease. At 1.15pm I complained and was told they would replace it asap. At 1.45 I again went to the bar to ask what was happening, a rotund bar worker then came over and told us that my partner had ate most of the food but in reality she ate the chips and beans. Next the manager came and told my Mrs that he couldn't refund us as she had eaten most of the food. I have pictures of the plate before it was taken but I can't lost on here un fortunately . We were offered a free desert instead of a refund so the manager acknowledged it wasn't up to standard but refused to offer a refund. The excuse given was that they were "very busy" despite the fact that 51 people had pre booked. We eat here at least once per week and won't be returning unless this is addressed.
