I'm officially done with this page....nothing but negativity...snide remarks and down right nastiness...we're a small family run business...struggling our arses off to pay the bills...tax....rates....wages.....electri city ....gas ....you get the picture...and all I get is people slagging us off...moaning about decisions I simply have to take to stay afloat....I know it's a minority and much love to the majors faithful....but I can't take working every hour god sends....stressing non stop when I'm at home....for some nobody to slag us off...run us down.....I know it's part of society now...to do this...but honestly I don't want any part of it....

as you may have heard on the news the heatwave has caused potato crops to fail.....this is having a casatrophic effect on the price and availability of potatoes....and may even lead to a total shortage of potatoes....so I as you my lovely customers what would you prefer...a smaller portion...or increased prices....it's a simple choice­¤śź­¤śź­¤śź­¤śź

When I was a wee girl every week we would go the baths and get chips on our long walk home best chips ever had but now I have too travel 439miles for them you should open a Scottish majors ÔøΩ

Well after having a bad batch the manager Royston got in touch and kindly gave me food on the house and it was the majors I know and love was delish thankyou for being so kind and understanding

This chip shop has been my favourite place to get chips since I was a little girl (I’m now 37). The chips are still amazing and better than any others that try to imitate. Visited yesterday for possibly the last time ever as I’m emigrating next week - chips from here are the only thing I’ll miss ♥️ If ever the boss wants to open a Spanish franchise - contact me! 😍🤣

Mini fish and chips served in an efficient and polite manner. Then there was the eating of them! Wow. Crispy outer and fluffy inner on the chips, hot fresh fish and served on a selophane liner rather than the "greaseproof" paper that sticks to the fish and removes all the batter. Living in Coventry now restricts visits to when visiting family but my god , food to die for!

I have eaten from this chippy for around 30 years. The fish and chips are amazing, in my opinion no other chippy comes anywhere close to the taste and quality of major's.

Came back from australia and it’s the only place for fish and chips !! Traveled 21000k for these golden goodness . Made me feel 12 years old again !!!

Xchanged without problem and another customer had to take theirs back too

Absolutely the best fish and chips in the Midlands. My mom and dad would travel from Bentley to Bilston weekly and because of this I too travel to have a fish and chips treat. Quality has never been compromised after all of these years. Simply superb!!!!

Had majors fish and chips and it was absolutely delicious but the down side was they had run out of curry sauce. Come on majors no fish and chips is complete without the curry sauce!

i ordered 2 bags of chips 1 large 1 regular small pot of peas and a jumbo sausage ,, I get home only one bag of chips 1 regular every thing else there so I had no dinner I got charge £4,25

Not good at all I came in Thursday night had mini fish and chips in boxes 4 times along with other food. All of the 4 fish was hard not impressed at all

Mate I've just sent my sister in for myn and my moms tea I've been eating from u for years but today was not very good at all mate hade to Chuck away don't no if its because ur busy but had to just let u no thanks Jamie

Usually love going here for chips but we've been today for a LARGE bag of chips and a pot of curry sauce to get home to not even a cones worth of chips what a waste of a journey..she was quick enough charging us for the large bag tho!

Just had the worst majors ever! What happened to the amazing fish and chips?! Chips taste like nothing and the fish batter was nasty! Such a shame it's gone down hill.

Husbands been tonight 4 teas just gone in him horrible said no salt just vinegar so what did the idiot in chippy do just plastered in salt no vinegar horrible can't stand salt
