Thanks Ice & Fire, we're chuffed 😊 We've been working hard behind the scenes photographing our pieces for our website and product portfolio, and like so many of you we love our local tipples! Using local produce collaborations, we've been lucky enough to work with our Ice & Fire neighbours, and can highly reccomend both gins 😍 Much excitement in our house for the arrival of Caithness Raiders Rum too -- watch this space!

It's been a while since we had a behind the scenes peek, so here's a wee insight for you 😊
We've been working away on creating new work for our stockists, while photographing our current collection.
Our website has been in the works for a while now and it's getting to the exciting stage where all the elements we've been talking about for so long have begun to materialise. Cataloguing almost 4 years of work has been interesting and we've discovered we have in the region of 60 ...designs 🙈 All unique and created by Mike in our home.
Keen eyes will notice the high chair and baby clothes in the background - juggling work alongside parenthood is a challenge but we're begining to strike a good balance. Every day is a learning day!
Thanks to all of our lovely customers and followers for your patience and continued support - it never goes unnoticed or unappreciated 😊

We had a lovely time at #TasteNorth 😊

We posted a sneak of this while it was still a work in progress back in November. The happy customer recently got back in touch with us with some photos of the finished piece in place in their new house. It was a custom commission for a close to life size scottish piper on a glass panel to be used as a focal point and a divider between rooms. It's by far the largest piece of work we've ever done which posed some new challenges but I think we can say it's turned out to be a great success! We hope everyone has had a great time over the festive period! We made the most of the time away from work ourselves to recharge the batteries and spend some quality time with our wee boy Zakk. It's back to work now though and we've got a few things to share in the coming weeks so keep a look out.

We're on our last few orders now before taking a break til the new year. Unfortunately we're unable to take on any more this year.
Looking forward to our first Christmas as a trio, and taking the time to appreciate all the love and support our family gives us throughout the year. We wouldn't be where we are without you all.

Made a delivery to the wonderful @coostailgallery Thurso yesterday. Love visiting Barabra, but I don't think I've ever walked away empty handed 😅 Spotted the lovely window display lit up on the way out, and had to share it! Meanwhile, all those who suggested poppies, we think its a fantastic idea and very thoughtful. We won't have chance to create a poppy glass in time for Remembrance Day this year, however we will work on a Remembrance range for next year, and 10% of all purchases will be donated to the poppy appeal.

This morning has been about illustrating, framing, and packing up the remaining wee 'Ulbster Puffin' editions. Each small, framed puffin is hand-illustrated in pen & ink, with a limited run of 10.

This was a rather special commission...a custom door window etched with a Massey Ferguson 35x 1963 tractor. Special to us not only because it's the first window we've etched, but also because my grandad had 2 tractors just like this. We've been holding onto for a wee while now (in the hopes of getting out to take some photo's ourselves but weather and our baby boy have been making that difficult) but think it's about time we share it. We're always happy to work on something special like this and we've recently been asked to work on a large scale project that we're really looking forward to starting, so keep an eye out for updates. While everyone is putting their suggestions forward for new designs, here's a new one we did for a customer short ago. Two shinty hiball glasses. We tried to make it as obvious as we could that it was shinty rather than hockey and we hope it works
