When your hair salon is more like a second home and eveyone that works there is so friendly. Half of the time whether I am booked in for my hair or nails I have no idea what I even want done and somehow they could read my mind and even harder read my 10 year old mind too �

Nothing is ever too much to ask and contrary to the misconception that it must cost a fortune just because its in Dickens Heath, its actually cheaper that most other places and what you get is what is suitable for you and maintenance is minimum which means hair isn’t tired out with all sorts of treatments.

Emma looks after my nails too and I am always looking forward to our chats let alone the pretty nails afterwards �.

My first visit to Matthew James Salon... what a fabulous experience... beautiful salon! Fantastic vibe! Warm friendly professional service throughout! Best hair wash that I’ve ever experienced! Total high end from start to finish... such a treat!

I think pretty much every member of the team has done something with my hair in the last 6 years thanks to my last minute booking style and I’ve swished out feeling glam every time. Playing about with my colour has always been my thing and I was a bit apprehensive when my usual colourist left, but I needn’t have been...Matt did an amazing job with my latest request & him and the team never let me down. Highly recommend.

I love this salon! It is absolutely fantastic, the service from all staff is second to none, so friendly and welcoming. Suj is a fantastic hairdresser, brilliant cut every time. Even though I’ve moved out the area, I still go back to this salon. Cannot rate it highly enough!

Cannot recommend highly enough. I'm an old hand at visiting hair salons and have had some nightmares in the past. So pleased to be back in the very capable and talented hands of Sue. Her technical experience and knowledge of colour is superb and she completely understands the importance of listening to what I'm looking to achieve. My hair was, to be perfectly honest, an absolute mess when I arrived, dark roots, grey hair fighting for attention and orange tinged ends. I desperately needed Sue. She talked me through the whole process and I couldn't have been looked after any better. All the staff were a delight and made my visit an absolute pleasure from arrival through to departure, with a completely new crowning glory and a huge grin on my face. As I said I cannot speak highly enough of the whole salon 'experience' and Sue's magic hands. Cannot wait to return. ��

As a new client and wanting a whole new look I was a bit anxious but I was made to feel comfortable and relaxed right from start to finish. Everyone was friendly and professional. I had Sue do my colour and I’m really happy, she listened to what I wanted and achieved it!
