I love to sew and have done so for more years than I’d like to admit to! I’m very lucky to be able to finally turn my passion into a business; May-Hem UK. I have a real interest in creating useful items that are also beautiful at the same time. I really hope you enjoy using my items as much as I enjoy making them.
I also make more practical items, including: phone holders, sewing /knitting bags, aprons…and much more!
Some items are suitable for personalising with names, dates or a special message. I really feel this adds an extra touch to make your gift to a loved one (or even yourself! ) that bit more unique.

Sorted out a pair of shorts with a an annoying press stud button that kept popping open. My partner thought he'd heave to throw them away but they are now good as new. Will definitely use again for all my repairs and alterations. Great service, highly recommended.

Ordered a customised high bed tidy for my daughters 7th birthday. When it arrived very promptly it was beautiful, excellent quality! My daughter loves it especially her name and the pigs- she loves pigs!!! Such a great idea we never have anywhere for her water bottle or bedtime book!!!!

I finally found a dress to wear for a wedding but it was much too long. Deb kindly agreed to alter it for me with only a couple of weeks to the wedding. She noticed that the manufacturer hadn't made the hem straight, which in one particular place was much long than the other side and was able to correct their mistake and shorten it to a very high standard. I can now go to the wedding without risking breaking my neck! I would highly recommend Deb, thank you for all your help x
