MI Taxi Service is a family run business which has a wonderful history spanning over 60 years. Throughout this period, MI Taxi Service has constantly expanded, from starting out in 1954 with only one vehicle to now having over 130 multi-purpose vehicles meaning that customers are offered an extensive range in vehicles to suit their specific requirements.
We always offer our customers an extremely professional service which has been rewarded by an excellent reputation in the community. This has resulted in us being the longest, and biggest taxi service in Nuneaton and Bedworth. We also cover Hinckley, Bosworth and surrounding villages.

Included in our service, free of charge, we have a text-back and call-back facility. Our text-back service will inform you when your vehicle has been dispatched giving you the registration plate, vehicle type and colour. Our one ring call-back service will notify you when your driver is at your pick up point.

We used MI to take our party of 15 to Ricoh Arena on a night out to see Peter Kay. The gave a very competitive quote over the phone and so we booked them.
The drivers arrived in enough time for us to be in the cab and leaving right on time. The drivers were very smart, in a uniform, and were very friendly. The minibus was clean and tidy and in good order.
At the end of the night, the drivers were outside waiting for us when we came out of the venue. They got us all in the cab and away, avoiding the traffic for a speedy journey home.
Thank you MI Taxi's and Dave and Colin our drivers for helping us to have a great night.
Would definitely recommend them and will be using their services again.
We had to use this service on Thursday to and from George Elliot,taxis came out straight away,they were clean ,drivers lovely,and coming back from ge the driver avoided a journey that would take us over speed bumps because of my bad leg,and they were so friendly and helpful,will use all the time now,
Left my purse in taxi this morning, driver contacted office, office rang me and it was returned within the hour. Thank you so much for excellent customer service and good to see there’s some honest people around
I see a lot of negativity for taxi drivers. But got to say last night after a friend dropping there phone in a taxi they then called the office to let them know what had happened and then within 30mins the same driver actually coming into the pub to hand back the phone... so BIG UP to MI taxis for there prompt and honest service �
Great service from MI, the Mrs left her phone in the taxi and they bent over backwards to get it back to us. Even dropped the phone back to our house for no extra charge. The control lady I spoke to couldn't do enough ti help.
For over 20 years I have used M1 taxis whenever I have needed one and have never been let down. The taxis are prompt, reasonably priced and the drivers are always courteous, friendly and professional. In short I can strongly recommend M1 taxis.

MI taxis helped us out of a situation last night when the mini bus we had booked and paid for to and from Weston hall in bulkington failed to pick us up after the function leaving 8 ladies stranded in the cold. We rang MI and they sent an 8 seater out to us straight away and got us all home safe and sound. Thank you to all at MI taxis
Overall a good company. I'm just annoyed and want to make the company aware that several taxi drivers refuse to take you home after midnight without an "up front cost" over the price it should be and without putting on the meter.
Tonight I was asked to pay £15 up front for a £9 journey (I've taken it several times) .. he wouldn't put the meter on and would rather a single female get out in the middle of town at 4am to hail another taxi than take me home and charge me via the meter..
Always seem to get smaller taxis than we ask for also some taxi driver as not professional and like to argue with you that you don’t need a recipe from them. They don’t seem to care that they aren’t being professional either otherwise have some brilliant drivers just let down by the others.
Ordered a taxi for tonight after trying a couple of other companies, and managed to get one taxi, office staff polite and professional, taxi arrived on time but went well of the way for the journey stated, as apparently the bridge was closed from mancetter. The bridge is available at night and other shorter routes are available also. A £12 to £15 journey would have cost £34, if I hadn't complained and got it reduced to £25. Taxi driver tried to blame me for not giving him directions!!! Will think twice about using this company unless desperate. Would advise others to do the same.
Not happy daughter phoned these last night at 11.30 was told taxi would be 5 mins. At 12.00 daughter had to phone again told taxi was on the way and would only be charged day rate as they were late. When she came to pay the driver charged her after midnight rates said it had nothing to do with him. Daughter has phoned the office today who weren't interested in her complaint. This is not good customer service.
I am disappointed that the 2 taxis I prebooked with you did not turn up at midnight on Saturday. I tried calling your office and got no answer. Luckily we were able to get a taxi elsewhere. Then I woke up Monday morning to a text to say my taxi had been despatched on Sunday evening and a missed call at 12.11am Monday morning. I have used this taxi service on quite a few occasions and it is very good but I was not satisfied that you got the return taxi date wrong on my latest booking �
What an absolute joke rang for a taxi after using this service many times when in rhe area. .get told at 250 no taxis untill atleast 3.30 after school runs.so i ring someone else.a eomam comes out after ringing off 1 of your free payphones and gets 1 straight away.then 2 more taxis pull up asking if i want a taxi .do i fuck want one of ur taxis .id rather walk with my bastard trolley.and as 4 the silly cunt on the phone mekin out it werent her i spoke to erh yes it were u arrogant stuck up lieing bitch.wat is it ring off ur frree payphones and get a taxi ring off a cockin mobile u get told no after school run.u asked 4 a review u got one!!!! Very disappointed with MI’s service tonight. After enjoying a night out at the Ricoh Arena we were waiting for our taxi (which was booked through the app the previous day). After checking its status 10 minutes before it was due, we were ready in the place we asked to be picked up. Not more than 2 minutes later, we checked again to find our booking had been deleted. We phoned to check it was still on its way, to be told MI had cancelled it. They claim they had tried to call us (no missed calls) and said as it was ‘out of town’ (we live in Bedworth - 4 miles from the Ricoh) we had to prepay for it. This is why it was cancelled. So they left us stranded with no means of getting home, even though the taxi was booked over 24 hours before.
I am deeply saddened and disappointed with the service from MI. I have been a loyal customer of theirs for many year, and always book taxis through them, and the app (for which we have NEVER had to prepay for the taxi). You have lost a loyal customer tonight, MI. Very disappointing indeed.
Ring for taxi 11.40 can I have taxi straight away please? Yeah sure it's on it's way 12.25 it pulls up disgusting nice 1 we are only half a hour later the taxi drive was mardy and rude aswell won't ever be spending another penny with your company again!! Il stick to mgm
My journey started well speaking to the lovey lady on the phone! Very polite cheery and helpful
the taxi driver however, he stopped directly where I was stood and asked if I’d booked taxi I said yes, indicated for me to get in. When confirming the address he told me I’m wrong to call MI and tell them of wrong address waving phone at me in quite an aggressive manner. If it wasn’t for the fact I’ve done a 14 hour day and want to get home I’d have gotten out and booked with another company. He was very rude and moaned the whole journey about how I wasn’t his booking, Repeatedly telling me to phone the office.
Not once did he check where I’d booked from or what my name even was before letting me in the car!
And when I asked for a receipt for work purposes he just huffed and me.
Certainly won’t be booking again after that!
Just had a very disturbing experience with driver 28 at MI taxis...he picked me up and started to take me the wrong way to my destination... I tried to advised him which way to go and he completely ignored me... telling me he knew the best way ...I explained I took the same journey several times a week and he started to raise his voice to me � I phoned through to MI to tell them how rude he was being and the female radio controller could actually hear him shouting at me and commented to her colleague who she put on the line... at this point the driver got on the radio and continued to shout and say I was wrong. He ended up actually kicking me out of the taxi and the wrong destination whilst his office were on the phone. The chap who took over the phone call didn't seem to be bothered so I asked to go back to the female controller who had heard how the driver shouted at me... she sounded quite mortified ...I am totally gobsmacked and to be honest it shook me up... I hope to goodness he was taken off his following job. I will be reporting to the council
