Celebrating Science... Today is Julian W. Hill's Birthday!
If you didn't know, Julian Hill was an American chemist who helped develop nylon.
Nylon is strong, hard and water resistant - most commonly used for synthetic fibres in clothing. However, nylon can also be used to make other materials, such as parachutes, ropes, string for tyres, carpets & fishing nets!

The grooviest place in Birmingham to watch the top movie releases and a lot more!!

User

No better screen to watch any film. Fantastic. Hope to see more old classics. Chitty chitty bang bang on that screen was awesome

User

Loving all the Christmas lights, big wheel and Birminghams outdoor skating (although rink has a roof!) feeling Christmassy already ๐Ÿ˜€

User

Great museum and outdoor venues at Millennium Point. The cinema is very good and plenty to learn here.

User

First time for me. Can't wait to go again

User

Brilliant day here Watched godzilla the Sound and picture was quality. The screen was massive the service was Great. Will be attending to watch a other blockbuster film here. My new Favourite Cinema

User

An awesome experience!

After visiting the Giant Screen numerous times, I can honestly say that it's amazing and the movies look extraordinary on a screen as big as this one. Any other cinema screen just look like a TV screen compared to the Giant Screen! <3

User

Went to see Dark Knight Rises in its truest form was not disappointed. The price was average (though slightly less than the Odeon in the city centre) and the seating was nice with comfy chairs and nice legroom to boot, why it doesn't get 5 stars is the location sadly it's just too far away from anything people go to Birmingham for. If it was in the city centre (and had a Chop Chop noodle bar or a Mt. Fuji restaurant in) I'd be there for every major film I'm interested in.

User

Had a great day, watched Ninja Turtles on the giant screen. Definitely worth seeing! Joe, I'm the woman who wanted the TMNT standee for my wall. Thanks for the advice and let me know if and when I can pick it up :)

User

Great visit to see Frozen Sing along. Had few issues, the oriental looking lady on the kiosk didnt seem to know (or be intrested) in what she was doing. Thank you to the new starter who had to hold the fort and to the gentleman with the glasses who was helpful and pleasant :) thankfully one bad apple didnt ruin the visit. The kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves, comfy seats and at ยฃ5 a ticket... amazing!

User

Very disappointed by the absence of any decent food availability in the Millennium Point building or immediate surroundings after a 3hr long movie. The one cafe on Floor One has been closed and boarded over.
