Our fantastic new dark nights menu begins this coming Wednesday. We really enjoyed our first visit to Miller and Carter, we had lovely food and our waitress was really helpful for our friends 80th birthday who was disabled and in a wheelchair, thank you

We have been to Miller & Carter quite a few times and always enjoy a good meal. Our visit last night was no different. A bite to eat before a theatre show went down an absolute treat! We had the date night menu priced at £24.95 each for a 3 course menu. My wife had mushrooms for starter, I had the scallops then we both had the bistro 8oz steak for main. I have my steak medium and thoroughly enjoyed it. My wife has her steak well done and I believe this takes all the succulent taste out of the steak but her steak was soft and tender and really tasty! To finish off we had a chocolate brownie and treacle sponge for dessert and washed it all down with a large glass of Merlot!! We like going to Miller & Carter not just this venue but others too and we know we will always get a top notch meal. Our waitress Sheree (I think) was great and really helpful too as we were on a bit of a tight schedule due to our show but she sorted us out no problem. Not rushed but made sure we weren’t left hanging around either. Look forward to eating with you again soon!

We had an anniversary meal for our 25 th wedding anniversary with 18 people and Tracey our waitress was fantastic. The food was beautiful and even our youngest member of the group had a lovely meal and was attended to by Tracey who did everything to make our afternoon special. An amazing afternoon on 14 th Sept thank you Miller and Carter for making a memorable day for us and the proseco. Xx

Visited tonight for the first time. We absolutely loved it. We came because it's been a year today since our mom passed away and our dad wanted to treat us to a special meal together. I can honestly say I loved everything about our visit, from the friendliness of the staff to the outstanding food that was served to us. Will definitely be visiting again and again. Xx

The steaks were cooked to perfection and the lobster mac and cheese was amazing! Cocktails looked and tasted lovely! Will definitely be visiting again. Fantastic service! Travelled up from Wales for a family meal Sunday 8th July, we went for the three course set menu, we explained to the waitress that my wife was allergic to rapeseed oil, she spoke to the Chef and the kitchen team and they went that extra mile to ensure we had no rapeseed oil was used in the the cooking of her meal. We had great food excellent service and I would throughly recommend this restaurant and will be going back again.

The staff were helpful from when We first entered the building until we left, changing chairs to meet my disability needs, the waitress (Tracey) was absolutely brilliant and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The food was absolutely first class, the fact that we hadn’t booked and just walked in didn’t seem to present them with a problem, they just got on with things and made a very good job of it, we will certainly be returning in the very near future.

Myself and a friend had our Birthday meal last night at Miller and Carter, Hagley Road, with one of other friends too. We proper pushed the boat out and we had a very hefty bill of £133 but worth every penny! The staff make that place run like a well oiled engine and were meticulously professional but being friendly at the same time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Miller and Carter to anyone, it was my second visit and I shall be going again very soon.

My Dad’s 70th birthday family meal, the waitress Kelly was very good nuffin was too much trouble, Also was give a free bottle of bubbles on the house. Food service & drinks were all lovely no problems. steak 🥩 was cooked good no blood. We Gave Kelly £10 tip my uncle was very impressed with the service he also gave a £5 tip 2. Good night will definitely be going back party of 6.

I visited last week to celebrate my birthday. I had originally booked a table for 10/11 and even though there were 2 extra to be seated nothing was too much trouble. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was excellent. Thank you for making my birthday that bit more special

Great lunch today. Julie the server was excellent, food amazing and it's 20 quid for 2 courses for 2 people. Bargain.....food quality is top notch.

Booked a table for 2 originally but rang to ask if I could change to 3 people - not a problem, even though it was the night before Mothers day so was extremely busy. Arrived on time and shown straight to our table. I even received a voucher for free prosseco as a birthday treat for all of us.

Food was delicious and our waitress was friendly and efficient. All in all a great night

This is the 3rd time at this particular branch and was much better than previous visits, service was good, food was lovely, great atmosphere, my only concern at the restaurant was the toilet facilities, have been to several restaurants which have these 'trendy' customer toilets and much more hygienic to stick to traditional male & female toilets! But overall good night had by all three of us.

Booked on the day so was really pleased we could get a table slightly earlier than requested, but worked out ok in the end. Group of 7.

Only criticism really was high chair wasn't clean and glasses were smeary from dishwasher, aswell as lipstick on 2 of them.

Service was lovely our first waitress Caroline discussed the menu and cuts of steak really well. Her order taking was methodically done. She also handed us over to a new waitress as her shift finished which we all thought was really professional.

Food was overall really nice. Particularly like the sharing starters. All the lads enjoyed their steaks and the lobster. Second Waitress thoughtfully bought a spoon for the little one in the group which again was much appreciated.

Attended the restaurant last night in a large party of 16. Bar service was extremely slow taking over 10 minutes to get served when we arrived. Once seated things got a lot better. Our waitress was brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us. Our food was to Miller & Carter’s usual high standard and was delicious. All in all we had a fantastic night - well done to the kitchen and front of house staff.

A really nice setting,staff really attentive but not pushy and meal cooked just the way you want it even if they recommend it slightly different. Will definitely return.

We have been dining at miller and carter a lot over the last year as we really enjoy their food but the last couple of times we have been our orders were mixed up and the steaks were not cooked as we asked! Also our cocktails tasted very weak, quite watery! This is not the kind of service we would expect after paying over £100 bill

The reason for the 3 stars is two issues....one is that the menus were very dirty. I just do not understand why every time I eat at this Miller and Carter Restaurant {Hagley Road} I have to wonder whats {literally} on the menus. I would suggest the menus be cleaned everyday and sometimes in between. Especially with flu and cold virus's going around I would think they would do this automatically. This is really so simple with a clean rag and deodorizer handy. Second is that our drinks should always come before appetizers. We waited for what seemed like a very long time for our water and drinks and when our appetizers came to the table the man who served said he would get our drinks immediately. Which he did. I like Miller and Carter and the rest of the meal was great with the filet steak cooked perfect and juicy along with my sweet potato fries cooked fresh. It was Valentines Day so we did expect them to do well with not only service but also the food. The food did deliver hence the 3 stars. The waitress was good but seemed a little overwhelmed. Overall, not bad....just not great.

Sadly a disappointing result... Booked day off work to celebrate hubby's 40th birthday, booked the table and prosecco... Suspected gas leak led to our booking being cancelled. Cant rebook as we would have the kids with us... Was really looking forward to it too. Better safe than sorry I know, but still disappointed...
