Went to molans today with my mum and 2 year old and they couldn't be more helpful if they tried! We got to pick where we wanted to sit and they were very friendly and helpful to us and my 2 year old!

Food was amazing and my mum hadn't been there for years and she was very pleased with the new setting and the service & food!

We used to go many years ago when we used to live in Loughton, it was good then and but even better now. Really good food, great service and everyone friendly and helpful. Will go again when we visit Loughton.

Their saltbeef sandwiches are packed with delicious meat and the staff are helpful and nice.

I enjoy going Molens very good food and the safe are great

I have been using Molens for years now, from the days when it was just a cafe up to its present magnificent refurbishment. The only thing that their new expansion has brought that I don't like is that the service has gone down a little.

First time to place just like turkey just noisy but very friendly good good no trouble catering for kids had grandson with he made a mess and they were very kind about it so far liked place it's what you make if it

had to wait a long time to be severd thought for what i got on my plate i paid a lot of money for i have had better times in there. they need to improve

Not as family friends endless since getting bigger. Staff not so friendly services not so good coffee came warm and they forgot the milkshakes.Bigger is not always better should have left it as it was.

Gone down hill in my eyes.Quality of food varies.Sometimes success is not always better.Changing the format can lead to worse service(It Has)Ever increasing prices.Also not very accommodating when asked if I could have some plates with ice cream for my daughters Birthday cake.Said I could not eat the cake.O well.

Hope they start to Reengage with the customers.

Not impressed after saying my order 3 times still was wrong and baked beans were luke warm had to complain

Nice place, good food but terrible service! I had finished my meal before my husbands even arrived! We had to remind them twice!!

It had the potential to be good, big enough with allot of options but the management aren't aware what customer service is. We went to pay and the manager was rude

Essex friends I am very sad to say that Mum and I have just been to the refurbished Molens in Loughton High Street and although it looks great there is very little chance of me returning again. I ordered my food and someone senior came back to double check my order as the waiter hadn't really understood me. Despite my order being checked I was brought the wrong dish twice and as Mum was halfway through eating her food I said to not bother making it again as it was too late and I didn't want it. As we were standing up to go and pay the waiter returned with the unwanted dish again and got the hump when I said again that I didn't want it. The manager made a very insincere apology and acted like he was doing me a favour removing the cost of the dish I didn't accept from the bill along with the cheapest drink we had ordered. Whilst we were there we heard three other tables commenting on how none of the food was coming out together so people were sitting watching others eating. To make things even worse they are now serving skinny, undercooked fries instead of the delicious thick cut chips they used to make. An Essex institution is now dead. I am on the lookout for a new Sunday brunch location.

Terrible the person who served us was sooo miserable. They wouldn't let us change the choice of bread. Won't be returning

Molens didn't let me and my friend and 2 babies come in last week as they said there were no tables! Blatant lie as cafe was half empty and loads of empty booths! When I questioned this I was told booths are for 6 people only however there were 2 boys at one booth, 2 girls at another and ONE man at another! Said we would collapse buggy too! Ridiculous and bad customer service and I'm not the first to say so

Horrible service and a snooty attitude. The food was substandard and the place was extremely pretentious. I'm sorry to break it to you but Loughton is not Beverly Hills. I also tip my waiters extremely well. Because of the attitude of the staff they got no tip. Sorry boys maybe try taking care of your customers.
