A nice end to a busy week. Another full artic load of BBH (40 year expected service life)creosoted stakes, rails and strainers of to a repeat customer on the Monmouthshire / Herefordshire Border. These will be erected over the coming weeks along with 9km of Tornado R8/80/20 stock fencing and Tornado Titan H/T Barbed Wire.
The combination of these two quality products will mean that the farm will not have to be fenced for a generation.

Creosote Fencing Materials
All of our creosoted stake and strainer material is 100% pine, sourced from Northern Europe, dried to below 28% moisture content, and treated in the UK to British Standard 8417. (They are treated in the same plant as the western power and BT poles) Following treatment all material undergoes post treatment penetration tests to ensure that the material has full sapwood penetration, and the correct creosote loading for use in ground contact. Please do not confuse our product with the cheaper imported creosoted stakes. |The stakes treated in Europe use different grade of creosote, not red wood, and not the same penetration. If you want the cheap imported creosoted stake, we can source them for £2.95 per stake plus VAT, but do not expect them to have the same lifespan and durability as our UK treated material.
