The marvelous Alikhanov Troupe features three acrobats climbing and spinning to the very top of two ten metre poles balanced on the single shoulder of one man.

Went to the Moscow State circus in Inverness tonight and all four of us have said it’s the best circus we’ve seen! Fantastic acts that you’ve kept all ages (8-36) entertained throughout. Our 8 year old who always says she wants to join the circus when she’s older loved it start to finish. All staff were so polite and helpful. 100% would recommend to anyone at a loose end over the holidays - lots of discount leaflets kicking about x

We visited on Sunday 29th July in Aberdeen (2pm show) and what a fantastic time was had by all! Really wonderful show by all concerned, in fact it's probably the best circus I've ever been to! Every act was breathtaking and the characters who did the comedy routines in between acts were genuinely funny and had us all in stitches! Well worth a visit if you get the chance to go :)

My family all absolutely loved the Moscow State Circus in Aberdeen today July 29th. Our ages ranged from twenties to sixties. Quality of acts and performances was extremely high as always with MSC. We feel it fair to say some acts are world class and could easily be working with Cirque Du Soleil. I do wish tickets were advertised and sold at a sensible fixed price without the need to hunt for discount vouchers or online discount vouchers. This is a frustrating marketing point which we hope MSC will review as I can assure you this has stopped people from going as they deemed the advertised full price far too expensive. Yet the "discounted" price is very fair. NOT a negative just sad to know people are missing out on a fantastic show. Only weak point is ONE part of clowns routine involving audience participation that was too long lacked content and did not go anywhere. Otherwise laugh out loud funny and great impromptu reactions. We cannot praise the aerial and acrobatic acts highly enough we really are talking world class acts here. Both sound and lighting were superb and deserve a special thank you. Popcorn snacks etc prices very fair and cost less than cinemas. Very good seating and view (Grandstand) Nicely presented foyer and entrance but was a few notches below the normal very high standards of MSC. Merchandise was a wee but sparce on stock compaired to previous times we have been. A pity there was no programme or Tshirts mugs etc. We did buy wee Russian doll magnets though which were fairly priced. I do not intend any points to be critical or negative please do not take them that way. Just trying to write a full and honest review. By FAR the biggest point to convey is this was a SUPERB two hour long show which we thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you to all at MSC.

Absolutely amazing. My first time at a circus and I'm 33. Took my 4yr old son for his first circus experience also and he loved it just as much as I did. The interaction with the crowd was brilliant and everyone involved from the ticket office to the performers were brilliant. Would recommend to everyone. An amazing moment I will forever cherish.
