Moseley In Bloom

About Moseley In Bloom

Moseley volunteers growing a cleaner, greener community. Our mission: “To contribute to the sustainable regeneration and environmental improvement of Moseley and to facilitate community cohesion. ”

Moseley In Bloom Description

Moseley in Bloom are a group of volunteers helping to regenerate Moseley by ensuring it is a safe and pleasant place for all by working on permanent planting projects, floral displays and making Moseley a greener community.

Moseley in Bloom consists of a committee group which look into the deeper issues within Moseley and look at how these should be addressed. There are then the volunteers that help the committee by volunteering to work in their spare time on the various projects either regularly through specific sub group projects or on an ad-hoc basis with larger projects. The voluntary work isn’t necessarily labour intensive – there is plenty to do behind the scenes such as project co-ordination, publicity and liaising with local organisations and institutions.

Moseley in Bloom have come up with the perfect way of showing someone you care.
For many years, Moseley In Bloom (MiB) has, among other things, purchased and maintained the many glorious hanging baskets that you see in the village centre. Big thanks to all the businesses out there who have, year after year, sponsored these.
Each basket costs approximately £200 including maintenance and this year Moseley In Bloom is putting out a call for individuals or groups of people, i...n addition to the businesses to sponsor a basket. The baskets can be can be credited to the sponsor or dedicated to groups or individuals.
There is a brand new Just Giving Page [https://www.justgiving.com/moseleyinbloo m ]
where you can pledge your contribution and leave your details and messages which can then be included in one of the hanging baskets. Of course you can just give a contribution without leaving a message.
What better way to express your admiration for someone? And we can guarantee the baskets will last longer than a box of chocolates.
