This Saturday 14th July 11am for an 11.30 am start @ Folkestone Harbour Arm. Hundreds People will be dressing up like Kate Bush re-enacting “The Wuthering Heights video dance” Hopping to break world record. Please join us Saturday... it’s not too late to join in, all welcome 💃

This Saturday 14th will be The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever!
We are expecting over 150 Kates!
... Meet in front of the big cinema screen in the Folkestone Harbour Arm car park from 11:00 for an 11:30 prompt start.
All you need to know-
Before Saturday: • Register for free on our on our Eventbrite page (The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever Folkestone) and donate to one of our chosen charities, if you would like to. • Get your red frock and accessories! We are basically trying to copy Kate’s outfit in the original Wuthering Heights video which is at the bottom of this post. As close as you can manage will do, but definitely a red frock. There are also costume ideas in some of the posts below. • Watch the video and get an idea of the routine. Some of us have practiced it, but you really don’t need to know it before the day, or have any dancing ability at all. However, it would be good if you are vaguely familiar with the routine and the easiest way to do that is watch the video at the bottom of this post. We will be teaching you the basics and doing a couple of run throughs on Saturday, and there will also be lead dancers for you to follow. • If you haven't donated to our chosen charities (Unique and Living Words) on-line at our Eventbrite page, you can donate on the day. It would great and really appreciated if you could bring a bit of cash.
On the day: • Meet in front of the big cinema screen, in the Folkestone Harbour Arm car park (link to google map) from 11:00am, for a very prompt 11:30 start. • The plan is: o 11:00- gather in front of the big screen, with some classic 70/80s tunes to get you in the mood. o 11:30 warm up and practice in front of the big screen. o 12:00ish move to near the lighthouse and do the ‘performance’. o 12:05ish it’ll all be over and we can hang out on the Harbour Arm for some food and a drink.
We are looking forward to it! All we need now is the sun and a big friendly crowd.
