Wow. A fantastic weekend from start to finish. Brilliant classes, amazing shows and a really good venue. Just a couple of requests. Would it be possible to have a larger dance floor for the Bachata /Cuban room please and could we have proper seating for the shows. I would have enjoyed the shows even more if I had been sat in a chair rather than on a hard floor, which meant that I was very uncomfortable after about ten minutes. Thank you

This event, Whether you are a beginner or and experienced dancer is one of the most fun weekends you'll have, the line ups are insane, the lessons are taught to the highest standards and still fun the learn.



The party atmosphere is OFF THE HOOK whether you like just one style or lots of styles, your needs are met and exceeded, you will see your bed when you walk into your room to unpack and that is the closest you will get to it once you start !!



Highly recommended ill be going again that's for sure !!!

Mauricio Reyes ~ you SMASHED it all over again ~ adore you. Thanks to Ricardo Graça, Tania Mendonca, Jeydikson Lima & Moe Flex for extremely special dances and workshops. Awe-inspiring. The performances were ALL off the scale but I especially enjoyed those of Sami & Roxy, Jey & Sonny and, of course, the outstanding surprise finale. MotionCity is a truly first-class event in every way. We partied right through to breakfast at 6am on the last night ... yaaayyyy!!! New Year's Eve already booked and paid for. Wouldn't miss it for worlds. Whoop whoop!!! MotionCity totally rocks!!! Highly recommended. :) <3 xx

It's what a congress should be and more. I like that the main hall has such a large nice dance floor and also room for tables and chairs and falls on a bank holiday weekend which helps me.. Keep up the hard work..

I had a great weekend as always and proud to be apart of the pink army ........While working one of my shifts i had the pleasure of Moe Flex doing a Musicality Class which i found very interesting myself and hearing a lot of people saying how good it was to ....but....sadly it was just NOT long enough so just a thought for next year maybe a " double class " then maybe we could get up and find the beat as well. Thank you Maz Jean Robert for Motion City 2015 i'am sure 2016 will be bigger and better

What an absolutely amazing weekender!



Bursting at the seams with talented dancers, great music, awesome classes, brilliant shows, crazy theme-nights and quirky add-ons (I loved the El Dorado-esque smoothie stall!). Most importantly, for me, this event is brimming with feel-good bonhomie and humbling friendliness radiating from every room, every dance-floor, everybody!



Over one month later and I'm still giddy with glee just recalling it all :-D



Thank you to Maz, Jean, Robert and absolutely everyone else who played their part in making this an unforgettably amazing weekend!!

Fabulous congress

Another great weekend of dancing. Thank you to all of the people involved who made it possible. I've enjoyed a few of these weekends now and have booked for 2018 already. I love seeing people again that I don't see too often, and it's a treat to stay in the Hilton and enjoy the facilities and fabulous breakfasts.

Just a couple of niggles, particularly if this event is going to be bigger next year. It would be great if there were more salsa workshops as most of the ones I attended were too full, so not enough room and not everyone could see very well and as there was only one level offered at a time there were often several leaders who weren't quite ready for the level of the class. One way round this could be to have 2 levels offered at the same time and possibly in the same room to cater more for the different abilities.

The main room in the evenings got a bit too full for comfortable dancing at times, so I found myself opting out for a while and coming back later when the dance floor was a little less full. Any chance of a bigger room for the main room, or to reduce the seating and have a bit more dance floor?

An event full of love, fun and energy with a high class line-up of artists and DJs and a great team organizing. Highly recommended for 2018!

Always a great event catering for a wide range of latin dance styles. Lots of lessons and fantastic music from top teachers and DJs.

Lovely to see people come back year-on-year that gives it a friendly, family feel to it.

Staying at the hotel also gives you a great breakfast to start the day (or to go to sleep with :-P ), a good pool and spa facilities to relax with, and street food counters to keep you going in the afternoon.



I've been to all 5 years so far... need I say more!

A warm, quality and extreme fun event in the UK with some international A-lister appearances! Feels like home, lots of friendly faces of good old friends all together :) Amazing shows, brilliant DJs and fantastic social dancers! Breakfast just out of this world!! Rumored to become bigger and even better next year. This is definitely one not to miss! ���
