myself, partner and 2 children(4 &10month) stayed for bank holiday may weekend. I cannot fault anything. the lodge was spacious & clean. the hot tub was brilliant and already hot for our arrival. the staff in the onsite pub were fantastic made us feel so welcome and accommodating. I would defiantly return. the only issue was late check in (4pm) and early check out (10am) I would have loved to have been here longer!!

We stayed here for 3 days this week in one of the lodges and it was amazing. Very relaxed and really helpful and lovely staff. We also had a meal at The Station one night and the food was incredible. Can't wait book again soon :)

We stayed for 2 nights in a mega pod, stunning! I was prepared to feel the cold but was very wrong, central heated, high standard pods, a perfect location for site seeing, walking and biking too. Hot tub is fantastic, stays hot for ages and also gets really hot too! Had to let it cool down before getting in! The breakfast at the station was perfect! We will definitely return!

We have just stayed here in the log cabin with our 4 year old. It is a fabulous place. The wood fired hot tub was lovely even in wintery weather so I’m sure this would be even nicer in the warmer months whereby you can get more use out of the bbq etc too. The staff are lovely and the Station pub on site is very chic and served lovely food. Thank you all at Mountain Edge !

Stayed in log cabin for 2 nights! It's even better than pictures! Done up to a high standard, everything is new and fresh, very clean and well equipped. Not cold one bit, It's got central heating as well as log burner that my partner loved keeping lit so the snow made it even more romantic and cosy! Loved the hot tub. We had plenty of food with us, so we didn't have mains at the pub, but snacked on couple of starters at the bar and they were tasty! Staff is really friendly and helpful. Nothing were too much for them! Carding Mill Valley was 10 mins round the corner and was an great walk with amazing views! All together we had a perfect stay! Kept ourselves busy, as that how we like, but also, chilled and relaxed. Will definitely be back and will recommend to everyone also! Thanks guys!

Stayed here for 2 nights last week and was not disappointed!! Amazing place, amazing accommodation and facilities were fantastic.. the station pub on site to was lush, cozy and the food was outstanding. Nice quiet settings and lovely scenery. Can’t wait to return for another stay ! Xx

On Monday 5th March, myself, my boyfriend and the dog stayed here for 2 nights. It was the most perfect stay ever!! The Mega pods are beautiful � They are super super cute and cosy!! The mega pods have everything you need in the kitchen, including towels and a hair dryer which we didn’t expect! Perfect for couples and people who love the outdoors and fresh air. The Hot Tub was an extra bonus and it was extremely hot, clean and easy to use! I cannot recommend the Mega Pods enough!! The food at the Station Inn was incredible! My boyfriend said it was the best burger and chips he has ever had and could tell how good quality the meat was. We loved every moment of staying in the Mega Pod and we will definitely be returning again! Thankyou Mountain Edge!!

Myself my husband and the dog stayed in a pod over the Christmas break for 2 nights, it was fantastic we went prepared for the cold but didn't need to. The pod was very cozy and warm so don't be put off about the cold. The pod felt even more cozy when the snow started to fall. The facilities were very clean and just meters away. We had dinner both nights in the pub and the food was stunning and staff very welcoming. The only problem was we wanted to get off early on the morning of check out but had to wait for reception to open, so if there was somewhere to post the key it would be perfect. Would defo go again may try the mega pods

I stayed here for a 3 night honeymoon break with my new husband this February and we absolutely loved it.

The lodge was so warm and cozy and had everything we needed. The wood burner and hot tub was the perfect finishing touch too as well as it being pet friendly so we could take our little dog.

The staff were so helpful and friendly and the restaurant was fab too.



Only change I would suggest is an earlier check in and later check out but would recommend and will be back again next year.

Have just got back from our stay at mountain lodges. It was amazing from start to finish and we didn’t want to leave�. If you want a nice relaxing get away, you must book here ! The lodges are done to a high standard. We ran out of teabags and wood and nothing was too much trouble. The station pub is a must too ! Excellent food and service ! I can not recommend enough, I am 40 next year and i will definitely be staying here again to celebrate �.

Great lodges, in a great location. We really enjoyed our short stay and will definitely be coming again. The food in the Station Pub is frankly fantastic and probably serves the best steak we have ever eaten.

Excellent 2 nights break in a lodge. We loved it. Everything you need to relax. Hot tubs are brilliant. Staff all so lovely & nothing is too much trouble. We didn't eat in the pub but the beer was excellent - next time we will sample the food. Look forward to a return visit - may try a pod next time.

Amazing. Stayed for one night with my boyfriend, in a mega pod & we wish we stayed for longer. We had such a lovely time, everyone is so friendly, the pod has everything you need. The only thing I would say is the mega pods need a little light maybe by the hot tub but other than that cannot fault our stay, already looking to come back, so so many people have asked where we was staying from seeing my pictures and I will 100% recommend you!

The lodges are beautiful and very well equipped, however they are situated in a small field in a pub car park facing a road 25m away. There is nothing to do on the tiny site, no childrens play area. The hot tubs are fabulous but it is not overly relaxing sitting there looking out over a road. The bedding provided for my children was sleeping bags, at nearly £200 per night I don't think this is acceptable. If I could stay in the same lodge, with the same hot tub on a secluded site with proper amenities it would be perfect. I would recommend the lodges as a base if you are visiting the area but the site is far from the whole package.
