MyrtleMake has evolved from my love of house interiors and passion for making things. The name comes from our house name "The Myrtles".

With "make do and mend" in mind, I can breathe new life into tired old wooden furniture with the help of Farrow & Ball paints to create a completely new look. You can recycle your existing furniture and avoid costly replacements.

I will also do small upholstery projects including occasional chairs, covered stools and dining chairs.

MyrtleMake also offers bespoke curtains in many different styles to suit your room; pencil, tab top, eyelet, interlined, french pleat or goblet headings. For a different look, Roman blinds and of course cushions to use up any leftover fabric. Machined or hand finished, lined and inter-lined. If you live locally I can provide a measuring service, delivery and design advice. Fitting available on request.
