What an amazing place. The venue is 5star and perfectly set out to cater for the whole day without interruption. Everywhere you look was so clean and plush down to the smallest detail. Even the views outside were surreal. It’s where I would love my own wedding venue one day. There’s also 6 guests rooms at the rear in the courtyard which apparently was outstanding but never got to experience it myself. Definitely a must for all future bride and grooms to consider!
We got married here in January 2018, and it was incredible. The venue, staff and food were wonderful and we could not fault any aspect of the day, or of the organisation beforehand. I would recommend getting married here whatever the time of year!
We got married at Mythe Barn last week and it was perfect from start to finish. I’d have given it more stars if I could. We asked for a totally gluten free menu and our guests would have never known. The whole day went perfectly- Laura and the team took care of every little detail. The new bridal prep area was a lovely surprise too. Our guests all commented on how relaxed the whole day was and that’s thanks to everything that the staff did to make it wonderful.

Perfect Venue! My son married his beautiful lady at Mythe Barn 7th April 2018. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive, the entire venue was clean and very well thought out. I stayed over night in what can only be described as a perfect room. I would certainly recommend Mythe Barn to everyone :)

From start to finish i cannot thank Molly and the team at Mythe farm and galloping gourmet for all of their amazing hard work on our wedding day Sunday 3rd June 2018!
When we met with Molly to discuss our day she went completely above and beyond when it came to helping us with the details of the day! As plans changed through the run up to the wedding, Molly was adaptable and helpful throughout and did her upmost to ensure our day was seamless.
The whole team at Galloping Gourmet are a complete credit to the venue! and a lot of people don't notice the enormity of the planning and work that goes on in the background to make sure the happy couple experience their dream day!
Molly and the team worked alongside our suppliers to make sure that the venue looked absolutely stunning... No request was too much trouble!
Throughout the day; the team were approachable, helpful and completely attentive and our guests haven't stopped commenting on the food and drinks!
To the chef's at galloping gourmet...thank you is not enough! The food was faultless and so delicious! We had the american BBQ in the evening which was full of flavour and people could not get over the quality of the food provided!!
The outdoor kitchen and stunning dressing rooms...not to mention honeymoon suite continue not to disappoint!
It also mustn't go unnoticed that the teams work didn't finish along with our day! they collected up each piece of decor and every candle holder we'd bought along and packed everything away perfectly just to continue to make the day effortless for us! they looked after all of our centrepieces and also all of the suppliers products and the organisation was amazing... At the end of the most perfect but long day we entered the honeymoon suite to find fresh water, and a slate with our wedding cake on and a lovely congratulations decorated on the slate, (we hadn't managed to eat any through trying to talk to all of our guests) and this is yet another example of the little touches the team made to make sure our day was special!
Thank you will never be enough! You gave us the most perfect day and we just wish we could do it all over again! <3

From start to finish this venue has been amazing. We viewed the venue & fell in love, it has everything we wanted. Molly & the team we’re sonhelpful booking the date & appointments to sort food etc. We always felt special & not just another number. The day went perfectly, the sun shone which made the venue look even more amazing. Molly made sure everything was in place as it should be, she kept checking on me & Ben to ensure we were happy with everything & had food & drinks when she could. Our guests commented on the beautiful venue & also the amazing food served. The honeymoon suite was amazing & the area to get ready an added bonus. We can’t thank Mythe Barn enough for making our day the perfect day it was.
Attended a wedding reception on 07/08/17 and what a fabulous day was had!! Lovely location, grounds and venue. The little touches made the difference. Guest packages in toilets to freshen up, games for children so they didn't get bored and very attentive staff. Food was gorgeous, and drinks were plentiful, children were very well catered for. The only negative I can add are bar prices BUT it's the same now whatever the venue. Well done to everyone for such a wonderful day xx
Attended a family wedding on 25th August 2017. Stunning venue!! Accomodarion was gorgeous too. Check out time was a little early but I just put this down to having to get ready for the next wedding guests arriving! The only other thing I would say is that breakfast was disappointing. Really wanted a full English breakfast for obvious reasons(!) But there was only a very small selection of continental items. Those things aside, the venue is beautiful and it's a credit to the owners.

As a venue it is stunning. The facilities are spotless, the restrooms luxurious there is one very downside to this venue the prices at the bar. I have to say this is the only reason to mark it down £9.50 for a pint of Diet Coke and a pint of Stella was extortionate to say the least - this is a choice by the owners! As this venue is not cheap by any means the pricing of drinks is very high and not sounding too melodramatic a rip off. I suspect they will delete this post but many of the guests at the wedding I was at said exactly the same - we can’t all be wrong

Stunning venue and was seriously considering this for a wedding but the staff let this gorgeous venue down considerably as their communication was terrible. You have to bypass a switch board before you get to speak to anyone over the phone and you're never speaking to the same person so you find yourself repeating a lot of information and it's almost as if no one manages the email account as I had no response after 3 attempts. Kick out time in the evening is the earliest I have ever come across as well (11:30pm) and have to pay extra for 12:30pm which is what most venues kick out time is as standard as well as a bar that remains open for residents... mythe barn couldn't deliver any of this. All of this was also followed up by an early check out time in the morning as well. I was ready to pay the deposit as I was invested in the venue but the staff seemed so disinterested and it felt like I was just a number as oppose to someone who would be potentially investing a lot of money into this business.
They take a deposit, I cancelled, however lawfully they are not allowed to keep £4,700 for deposit.
I cancelled my booking 12 months before the date, it was booked for 8th July 2018.
I will be taking them to small claims court against the Unfair terms in consumer contracts regulations 1999.
If anyone else in a similar position, they are only lawfully allowed to deduct an amount from your deposit for cost incurred, which is not a lot, therefore I would also advise anyone in a similar situation to also begin the small claims court process.
