The NET Patient Foundation and the Association for Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Disorders (AMEND) are developing a joint research strategy to ensure that each charity’s research funds are directed towards the most appropriate areas of research.
As patients and healthcare professionals (HCPs), your feedback is vital in helping us to achieve a strategy that is fit for purpose, realistic and most importantly, based on the priorities of those affected by neuroendocrine/endocrine... tumours.
Please take a few minutes to share your thoughts with us about the type of research that you feel should be a priority. Thank you.

May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month.
Merkel Cell Cancer (MCC) is a rare skin cancer that belongs to a group of cancers called neuroendocrine cancers. About three hundred people in the UK are diagnosed with MCC each year. Although MCC mostly affects older people (>50% are older than 76), it can still affect younger people and appears to be slightly more common in men than women.

If you have a Lung NEN (NET or NEC) we would be so grateful for your feedback by completing the survey below. ⤵️
The survey contains 18 questions which will enable us to find out what information and support is available for anyone affected by a Lung Neuroendocrine Neoplasm. There is also space for you to comment on what type of support or information you need now, or think you may need in the future. There are different types of Lung Neuroendocrine Neoplasm: typical and atypical, small and large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma and a condition called DIPNECH. You can complete this survey if you have any of the types mentioned.
Thank you for time and experience.

Living with NETS can be very psychologically challenging given the unpredictability of the condition, and symptoms, over time. Patients often feel isolated, exhausted, misunderstood and anxious.
Mind the Gap is our new campaign aimed at providing much needed emotional and psychological support to the Neuroendocrine Cancer community. We need to raise at least £15,000 for the first part of this project to give patients one-to-one emotional support which is why we’re asking you ...to help us by holding a Bake for NETs.
The money you raise from your Bake for NETs will go directly to our MIND the Gap campaign to help support the emotional wellbeing of Neuroendocrine Cancer patients across the UK.

Top draw helped me since its infancy. Amazing team and great support. What they don't know about NETS now is not worth knowing. They are a small team but do an amazing job and are a great team and organisers together. Keep going and thank you for your dear support over the last ten years. You are all stars especially Catherine BOUVIER who has helped me personally cope with NETS over the last ten years. Thank you to you all. Don't stop now your reputation and respect is growing daily as a place to go for help, lots of information and advice xxx.

The Net patient foundation have been a great support and it is because of such a great team of specialists that a lot of people are still here and fighting. The stories on the patient foundation group are an inspiration to us all.
