New Life Fellowship U.P.C Bilston

We're so excited to announce that NLF launched its long-awaited, first ever Punjabi-speaking Sunday Service this afternoon. A weekly Bible Study is already in place but this new service will be used as a another tool to outreach to Bilston's highly-populated Asian community. It will be held at 2:30pm every Sunday and we're looking forward to a revival in this area.

Following the recent baptisms and after having a Home Bible Study, another soul received water baptism today with a desire to follow God.
We are also celebrating as our Youth Leader is making the step forward to attend the full-time Bible School, Harvest Bible College, in September. The NLF church family are giving GOD the glory for what He is doing amongst our youth.

FIVE BAPTISMS took place this evening at NLF after our mid-week Bible Study session taught by Pastor about the importance of baptism in Jesus name.
Thanking GOD for the breakthrough within the Asian community. 🙌

Our Youth Weekend continued into our Children & Youth Sunday service today where we had the privilege of Bro. Osi & his family joining us. From the theme 'Youth On Fire' taken from Acts 2, he spoke powerfully about the internal and external fire which reminded us that the pressures we face on a daily basis cannot extinguish the fire within, but can only serve to increase the anointing power. Many of the younger member's of the congregation gathered around the altar at the end of the message clearly feeling challenged. Wow!

Our 'Keepin It Real' Youth Workshop & Music Blast was a success. The workshop was covered by our guest facilitator, London & South Youth Leader, Bro Osi Ejiofor who engaged the all-male teen cohort in discussions about social media, relationships & other relatable topics. This was followed by our very own Bro. John Paul who M.C'd the Music Blast session where everyone got an opportunity to express their musical talents which resulted in the group arranging a fun composition of a song with lyrics. Children & Youth Sunday is where our younger members are given the opportunity to lead various areas of the main service. They make us proud for their willingness to 'Stand Out' which was the assertive theme for their service today taken from Ephesians 5. Thanking God for another youth who'd recently started attending our services who was praying fervently during the altar gathering at the end of the service. Please help us pray for all children & teens throughout our churches.

The Apostolic Men's Conference 2019 held at NLF this weekend. 'WISDOM FOR OUR TIME' An awesome & power-packed 2-day event with great speakers - Rev J Mpofu, Rev R Kelley, Rev C Thompson & Rev J Austin. Excellent interactive sessions & teaching with very strong encouragment for men of all ages including Wisdom in reaching our world, sources of Wisdom, why Wisdom is needed and Wisdom for relationships. Thank you to those who travelled nationally to support this event which was a time for our apostolic brothers to bond with vibrant, engaging & uplifting sessions.

1 John 2:14 "...I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one."

Wonderful Youth Sunday topic today which was 'The Power of Perseverance' from James 1. As always, there was great participation from our Sunday School children in various parts of the service. Our two exhorters encouraged the congregration to keep moving forward despite the opposition we often face as well as disappointment. Keep the faith and with prayer, believe that GOD will make a way & open that door. 🚪

Following on from Pastor's Bible Study on Wednesday about 'Knowing Your Season,' what a beautiful service at NLF today led by our Women's Department. The coordinating theme was 'There is a Time for Everything; a Season for Every Activity' from Ecclesiastes 3.
Our exhorter, Sis Carol reassured the congregration that we need to trust God in every season as a sign of faith. We were also blessed to hear some wonderful testimonies of how God had opened various doors and many of us danced around the church during praise & worship. Thanking God, as always for our regular as well as new visitors.
