Newbridge Farm Park Description
Wayne & Julie Gardner and their staff welcome you to their family-run visitor attraction near Ledbury. The Gardners have farmed since the 1600's. Wayne's parents opened their Pembrokeshire Dairy farm to the public in the late 1960's, and then Newbridge Farm in 1995.
This great wealth of experience has enabled us to create a little paradise here on the borders of the three counties that enables families and groups to have fun, safe, quality time together with our friendly animals, activities and play areas.
As usual, nothing stays the same for long here. Our new Playbarn has been going down well with all our young visitors.
Pony Rides are a big hit, as are our Hands On Pet Time sessions with our small animals and creepy crawlies.
Our large selection of friendly, eager to eat out of your hand animals, are waiting to see you!

Meet the owls! Tues, Weds & Thurs, 10am-1pm this week and next, for our Halloween Half Term. Hold, them, touch them, or just look, and find out more about the owls and falcons on display.
Owls will be visiting on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday of both weeks! š¦
It doesn't rain over our soft play! Open this Friday & Saturday, and then for our Halloween Half Term from Monday 22nd - 3rd November (closed sundays), before closing for the winter.
We have enjoyed having Moo Music, Rhythm, Rhyme & Songtime, Sing & Sign, and Trinity Tree Yoga visit to run sessions for our Bouncing Bunnies Toddler Mornings this year. Check back next spring for 2019 Bouncing Bunnies events!
Extra Halloween specials at the farm park during Half Term. Meet the Owls on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 10am-1pm. Take part in free Halloween crafts to take home, 1-3pm, buy locally grown pumpkins, and enjoy some halloween edible specials.

We went to day and all 3 of my boys loved it top notch place. Highly recommend
We had such a lovely day here with our little grandson who is nearly 2. There was just so much for him to see and do he had a wonderful time feeding the animals, going on the tractor ride and a pony ride as well as endless fun in the play areas. It really is super toddler friendly and the staff were lovely. A relaxed and most enjoyable day out for all the family which I would highly recommend!
We had a brilliant day yesterday, I have a 5 year old and almost 2 year old and they both had so much fun! Plenty to do, pony and tractor rides, lots of lovely and friendly animals to see and touch. Soft play, trampolines, hay bales stacked for the kids to play in/on, zip wire.. loads, we were there 5 hours!!
Entry fee really reasonable and we also had a nice lunch which was very reasonably priced.
Two very tired children and one tired mummy at the end of the day!
We all love it here. Kids can have some freedom without me feeling like I have to have eyes everywhere and there is so much to do. Kids can be very hands on with the animals, they loved the pony rides and pets corner. I personally really enjoyed the tractor ride š. Would recommend x
Today was our first visit, which we thoroughly enjoyed and we canāt wait to return over the summer :) A big thank you for providing a local, affordable attraction with lots to see and do. Also, a big thumbs up for the amount of gluten free options you had :)
This place is so awesome that I almost don't want to give it a good review coz I don't want to share it with anyone! The animals are brilliant, the play areas are amazing, the cafe is super and reasonably priced (my mother, a tea connoisseur, said it was the best cup of tea with soya milk she has ever had outside of her own home and the gluten free treats were delish!). The staff were all really lovely as well. I took 2 9-year-olds and they are already asking when they can go back (they fell in love with a particular baby goat and even named it). We got to handle and meet loads of different animals, particular favourites were the guinea pigs, chicks and rabbits. I loved the alpacas and llamas but then I was born in Peru so I guess that makes sense. The hedgehog was also lush. I am going to stop going on now because otherwise I will be here all day. I will just finish by saying you should totally, totally go. Thanks for a great day out Newbridge Farm Park - see you again soon!

Staff were very helpful and friendly as always. Looks amazing with all the Christmas decorations around and all the final touches made to the place. Thankyou very much x
Newbridge farm park is amazing. Our 2 year old girl had so much fun on all the indoor and outdoor play areas and loved feeding the goats and the chickens. All the animals are lovely and well looked after. Definitely visiting again in the future. Would highly recommend to everyone.

I really love it hear. More than enough to keep the kids (11, 9, 6)busy and happy. My eldest son has Pitt Hopkins Syndrome, so is in a wheelchair, non-verbal, and developmentally just 12 months old and this is the only place we come to that fully include him (as much as he is able) in all the the activities on offer. The staff speak to him and are happy to approach him, even when he is in full on shrieky/flappy/spitty mode which is something that we never experience elsewhere. The only thing that would make it absolutely perfect would be a Changing Place accessible toilet, or even arranging for the mobiloo to come out on specific days. Thanks for being awesome Newbridge Farm Park ļæ½
Had a lovely time and spent the whole day there so its great value for money. Boyfriends little girl loved her first pony ride, never seen her so chuffed with herself! We really enjoyed holding, feeding and stroking the animals. The man who did the tractor ride and supervised the petting time was brilliant, so polite, lovely and patient. And the young lady who supervised during the pony ride was lovely too, she took the time to chat, answer questions and made sure little one knew what she was going to be doing and the pony ride rules and was very patient. I'd definitely recommend it to anybody wanting a day out!
Had a lovely day here with my 3year old, 4week old and my mum. Farm was spotless, tidy and clean. Reasonable priced for facility's available. Took pack lunch but food was there had we not. Will definitely return - thank you for a great experience.
Fabulous day at Newbridge today for their Christmas event. It's wasn't too busy and just open for the right amount of time. Thank you for a lovely day. My boys are nearly 11 but still had a fab day even if they brought most of the straw home! Thank you Julie, Wayne, family and staff. Merry Christmas to you all x

As part of a holiday club for children with special needs. All the staff was so accommodating and lovely to all our children and staff. Was wheelchair accessible too which was fantastic for us!! An amazing time and children loved it!! Defintely recommend and will be coming back!!! ļæ½ļæ½

If there was anything bad to say it would be for the staff to have a little more info about the animals.
When a man was feeding the pigs I could over here people asking questions about the pig ļæ½ like what type of pig are these. As they were unable to read the sign
and the staff member answered I donāt no sorry.
So they continued to ask another question and this time the staff member said I just work here to feed them I donāt then walked off

3 children, 8,6 and 5 all kept busy from opening till nearly closing! Staff were polite, apologetic even though there was no need to be ( waited in the cue for only 5 mins for the pony ride) and helpful, my 5 year old politely ask a member of staff the name of the tiny little baby donkey. She apologised and said she was new and didn't know but talked to my son about the donkeys and encouraged him to think of a name... 5 minutes later she had come to find us around the park (different part) just to tell us his name :) my son was so happy! Loved the hands on petting, the egg collecting and the children loved the tractor ride!!! The park isn't massive but it is amazing and you can definitely spend the whole day here, it is all pretty much outside so better if no rain ļæ½ Recommend to everyone!! Great family day out.
Having just moved to the county, this is a great find for my little one and only 10mins away! The animals, facilities, sessions and organisation were fantastic. There was a big primary school visit when we were there and they were so well behaved and controlled, hats off to the staff and the farm.
One little niggle I have is the control of older kids on the soft play. There are obvious height restrictions but parents were ignoring these resulting in 2-3 older kids running around at top speed with no thought to the toddlers. I saw one mum remove their child to safety and I kept a very close eye on mine. This behaviour needs to be controlled and seeing a boy punching the soft play hanging bits and using them like a punchbag is not something I wish my little girl to be on the receiving end of.
