Nyam Nyam Description
Moving back to Birmingham and wanting to explore a new city, we started to explore the exciting, dynamic and authentic ‘places to eat’ in B town. From fine dining to Digbeth Dining Club to the local chippy (we ate a LOT), we decided that we were definitely spoilt for choice- everything is so good here! Yes there are cuisines from all over the world with a modern street ‘edge’. We all love Caribbean no? Gotta have rice and peas on a Sunday with the Jerk chicken and coleslaw, or some fried dumplings and fried fish with escovitch, but you know what you rar gotta sit down to fill ya belly, if ya want curry goat you gotta watch the pot for at least 3 hours! We know not everyone has got time for that. Yeah we know you love it- that’s soul food, but because of the street food boom in Birmingham, we wanna bring a fresh lick to Caribbean food, offering wholesome, vegetarian alternatives too. On the streets we want to cater to all and bring a lively modern spin on Carribean street food. That’s where we come in…. . with our trialled and tested menus we will spice tings up and get some jokes on the way…. you gonna join us? Yummy, spicy, healthy food! Me and my partner had a private three course meal tasting, and it was delicious. The vegan burgers were so full of flavour and I can definitely say that the Mac & cheese is the best i've ever had! Tiff & Iszara are very welcoming people It was an extremely enjoyable evening! Would highly recommend.
One of the best street food dishes I have ever had!! Reasonably priced and so delicious! Vegetarian Caribbean food is where it's at! Definitely recommend the mac'n cheese xx
Just tried the vegetarian curry and it was amazing! So tasty and traditionally I’m a carnivore but with a vegetarian fiancé I’m trying to broaden my horizons a bit more. Nyam Nyam’s has certainly got me hooked and hope to try more dishes soon.
Had the most delicious Amazing food today at Coventry festival, and brought some of your hot sauce home can't recommend these guys enough!
Can’t say enough of the flavour of the food. It also filled me up and I eat a lot. Serving vegan food too, it’s the way to go! There should be a Nyam Nyam in every corner of big cities around the world
