Visited for the 2nd time on Friday. Was just as impressed as the first time. The decor and layout is lovely! The staff are pleasant, and the food is beyond amazing!! Corn dog starters are unreal!! By far the best smoke house around here... we loved it! Will definitely be back again, and again, and again!! :)

After an impromptu visit to Shrewsbury we discovered Old Smokey BBQ. Amazing food (we had Big Daddy Burger, Full Rack of Ribs, Pretzel Chicken Burger and Cheese Burger and sundaes), generous portions, lovely ambiance and surroundings and attentive service. Loved the place and will be back next time we are in Shrewsbury!!

Visited 27.4.18 early in the evening, with my partner.

He had the southern fried chicken, I chose a standard burger with bacon.

He really enjoyed the chicken and said the accompanying gravy/sauce was in his words "omg" .... which means it's was excellent.

I was a little disappointed in my burger a little dry and crispy but ok.

The decor is really nice and the music great.... not too loud not to be able to chat, and very fitting with the whole concept.

Service was good ....even when I asked to change to a table as I couldn't face perching myself on the high benches after a long day at work, and they were expecting two large parties at any moment.

An earlier review commented that the coleslaw was vile, I don't actually like coleslaw but ate this one .....so I guess that's down to personal taste.

We ordered the brisket and got 2 small slices of beef, a handful of fries like McDŌĆÖs, and a spoonful of coleslaw for ┬Ż16.50. Was not impressed on first visit. Very poor value for money. May try again and order something different As the burgers looked great.

The meal failed to live up to the hype, burnt ends were well over burnt, pulled pork tasteless and the ribs did not fall off the bone and we had table knifes which meant the ribs took some cutting through. Only saving grace was a decent pint of Budweiser and Orchard Pig. Deeply disappointed.
