Ollianna Cakes And Bakes Telford

This cake went out on Monday for an ex fire fighter's special birthday. Inside the fire engine is vanilla sponge with jam and buttercream. Though I'm full for bookings through the summer holidays I am taking orders for celebration cakes for the second week of September and beyond.

I love the white writing on the black base on this one, it really stands out. The cake was travelling to London as a surprise for the birthday boy.

Sharing this cake from the weekend made for little Layla who has just turned one. Seems like just yesterday I was making baby shower cupcakes in preparation for her arrival. This teddy bears picnic style basket cake was a first for me, and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

Yesterday's wedding cake was my biggest to date. Five tiers, four of which were real cake and one a dummy cake. There were also two additional cutting cakes as well as 170 cupcakes as favours for each guest. I hope you had a fabulous day Liv and Ian, the marquee was absolutely stunning.

Before I head out to deliver today's wedding cake, here's yesterday's that I delivered to the Albright Hussey Manor for Charlotte and Daniel. With tiers of vanilla, chocolate and salted caramel and decorated with edible diamantes, brush embroidery and a ribbon belt to match their colour scheme this was certainly an elegant cake. I hope you both had a wonderful day, and managed to keep cool on the hottest day of the year.

The popularity of the unicorn cakes continues to hold strong. I heard this one went down very well at Martha's party yesterday at Airea 51.

I've still not watched any, but with every Harry Potter cake I make I learn just a little more. Today I learned about Hufflepuff!!

A few months ago I had a competition to win a chocolate cake. Well, this is the actual cake that was collected yesterday. The winner decided to have the cake to celebrate her husband's 50th birthday. I hope he enjoyed it.

Over the last five years, me and my children have spent every term time Tuesday morning at the lovely Lawley Smallies playgroup run by an amazing group of volunteers. Today was our last one as my littlest heads off to school in September, a hard morning saying goodbye, and one that needed to be marked with cake.
