Olton Bedrooms & Home Studies Ltd Description
Olton Bedrooms started over 20 years ago in a 12 x 12 workshop in a rear garden in Olton.
With only redundancy money and the help and advice of the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce Managing Director Stuart Hubert started on a journey that was to surpass all expectations.
He writes as follows:
Within the first 12 months I moved into my first premises in Lakey Lane Hall Green followed by a further move 6 months later into a factory unit with a built on shop frontage. The growth and success of the business meant a new site had to be sought and some 8 years on into a premises at Olton Wharf. After 4 years at Olton Wharf we have again outgrown the premises and are now in our factory based at Cranmore Industrial Estate.
The past 6 years has seen a major move forward with us bringing in new machinery of the highest quality, a very strict quality control programme of our own products and our suppliers' raw materials and a very tight monitoring of our costs in and out.
We have spent a great deal of time constantly bringing in new and more advanced furniture e. g. soft closing sliding door systems along with looking at ways of making storage systems that totally maximise space e. g. Our newly designed corner robe system.
Wall Beds and Home Entertainment Systems are now beginning to establish themselves within our furniture range and installation of the Hideaway Beds takes us all over the country. Our new painted look finishes have re-vitalised our colour range and are proving to be a major success.
Growing Plans
It didn't take us long to outgrow our Olton Wharf premises. In January 2010 we moved to our current premises at Radway Road on the Cranmore Industrial Estate. Now we have 11000sqft of floor area, consisting of showroom and manufacturing facilities.

Great news! Our Phone lines are now up and running! Our usual number 0121 705 6941 is back up and running so you can now use this (again!) to contact our office. Once again we do apologise for the inconvenience this (BT!) has caused over the past week.
Further to BT upgrading our disconnection to a critical care and their promise to have it all sorted by 10 last night ..... they have failed again!! There was a little chink of relief yesterday when we had a small period of time that 1 phone rang but obviously BT thought that was too simple so they have cut us off again this morning!! Please use 0121 705 4366 as an alternative number. Incidentally if two people ring the usual number at exactly the same time one of you will get through!! It’s a lottery folks!!
So BT have inexplicably disconnected our ‚Äėphone lines. (We have paid the bill!) Please call on 0121 705 4366 until they realise the error of their ways ( that could take a while) and reconnect us. We are trying to maintain our sense of humour while dealing with the most incompetent people ever. We apologise for any inconvenience BT have or may cause you.

We are holding our 'Community BBQ' on Saturday 7th September 2019 ūüėĀūüėĀūüėĀ There will be plenty of BBQ food and drink on offer & all food sold will help to raise funds for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity We can't wait and are so excited....
