Oswestry Fire Station Needs Your Help. Our crews are looking for a kind person willing to donate any scrap cars you may have. Donated vehicles help us train in RTC techniques including stabilisation and casuality extrication. Please note we unable to pay for any vehicles but free collection can be arranged. Thank You.

A little trip over the border to assist Mid and West Wales Fire Service today with a domestic fuel spillage. Crews isolated the leak and helped clean the surrounding area. #LovingTheViews #HappyToHelp

16P4 mobilised to St Oswald Parish Church last night, for a reported Fire In The Open. A small fire was located and extinguished by crews.

Both appliances sent to a reported House Fire this morning, Lower Brook St, #Oswestry. Report was a false alarm. #BetterSafeThanSorry.

16P4 is back out again for a 3rd time tonight. This time to a small bin fire.. police also on scene of incident.

16P4 back out the doors again tonight.. This times crews have been sent to an AFA -Automatic Fire Alarm. A system fault was the cause this time. #staysafe #Oswestry

Some of our fine crew attended Telford Central Fire Station last night to take part in a simulated real fire exercise, We use a purpose built structure that replicates a domestic house and fill it with smoke so zero visibility. Dummy casualties are placed around the building for crews to find and to extinguish any seats of fire they come across. #Practicemakesperfect #Oswestry #SFRS

Last night our crews and our Water Carrier were mobilised to an Agricultural Building Fire in Shipton near Much Wenlock.
On arrival one barn was fully involved in fire. The LPU was set up and after further assessment our Water Carrier services were not required.
We believe that fire service personnel still remain in attendance.
