We would like to introduce our own family run business - Paloma's Private Hire, Taxi Service - based in the heart of Shrewsbury.
Carol and I have been in the taxi trade for a considerable length of time, with a combined experience of over 20 years, so we have now decided to set up our own taxi service business and go it alone.
Our experience means, we know where places and things are or at least a rough idea. This means less hassle or stress for you the customer.
Our aim is to be at the pick up point at the time the customer wants not when we feel like. You the customer would be in absolute control. If we are unable to provide you with a taxi at the time you want - we would say so.
As this is a family run business, we would endeavour to know and have a good working relationship with all of our customers by providing a bespoke service to suit each customer.

Early pick up for PALOMAโS HIRE today. No messing!!๐๐๐๐
!! FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD!! Guys, fraudsters are doing the round again. This time they would pretend to be ringing form HMRC. This has been on the radio just last week. For those of you who know me, know how I like my Radio 4.
The fraudsters would ring you and say the following, โhello, this is HMRC, you have been registered as a tax fraud, you are not to move, youโre about to be arrested. If you do not want to be arrested straight away, after this call, press 1 on your phone key ...pad to be connected to HMRCโ, and then they would force you to transfer money/make payment.
When you get this call please please hang up. All they want is you bank details so that they can clear you out.
The woman on the radio got over ยฃ2000 taken from her bank account, because she panicked and believed that the call was indeed from HMRC. By the time she realised, it was too late.
I had the same call yesterday afternoon from a number starting 0300. Believe me it scary and sounded genuine. The tone of voice is deep European male voice, it is had to pin exactly which part of Europe or it could be he just speaks good English. When I got the call I nearly poo myself but, then I remembered about the radio 4 โyou and yoursโ program.
If in doubt, really in doubt, hang up straight away, wait for about 5-10 minutes, use another phone and ring the number you have for HMRC. DO NOT USE THR SAME PHONE OR RING THE NUMBER YOU SEE ON YOUR PHONE, WHEN THE CALL CAME IN. Because (a) they probably still on the line and havenโt hung up and are waiting for you to be foolish OR (b) if you ring the number that you saw when the call came in, you can bet you bottom dollar, you will be ringing them.
PLEASE PLEASE TAKE THIS SERIOUS!! A WORD TO THE WISE!!

WE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO WAIT LONGER THAN 5MINS PAST THE TIME THE TAXI IS BOOKED FOR.
WHILST WE DO NOT WANT TO LEAVE CUSTOMERS STRANDED, REGRETTABLY, THIS IS WHAT WE MIGHT HAVE TO DO TO MAINTAIN A GODD STANDARD OF SERVICE.
... CUSTOMERS KNOW WHEN THEY BOOK THE TAXI FOR. WE EXPECT EVERY CUSTOMER TO BE READY WHEN WE ARRIVE AT THE PICK UP POINT.
IF WE CANNOT COVER A BOOKING WE WOULD SAY SO AND NOT TAKE IT.
IT SHOULD BE A TWO WAY STREET. AM SURE YOU WOULD AGREE!!

CAN I JUST SAY TO ALL OUR REGULAR AND LOYAL CUSTOMERS THAT, ANYONE WISHING TO BOOK A TAXI WITH US MUST INDICATE WHETHER ITโS MULTIPLE DROP OFFS OR NOT. WE WOULD NOT DO ANY MULTIPLE DROPS WITHOUT PRIOR NOTIFICATION EFFECTIVE 14/07/18 AS THIS IS CAUSING DISRUPTIONS AND LATENESS.
